If we do a milk can meal, can I suggest we cut back a bit this year? Last year we had so much left over last year, we had it a week later and ended throwing some of it out.

If we do decide to go ahead with the milk can meal, I am in for 5 lbs of sausage, a sixer of beer (for cooking, of course) and some cabbage and carrots. I will bring fixin's for an apple cobbler and a breakfast casserole dutch oven style as well.

I'm in, G. I'll be happy to bring my camp oven, if Dick isn't bringing his supply train of cooking magnificence. Those metal tables of his are a game changer.

Guyasuta breakfast pizza is mandatory - Crescent rolls, topped by breakfast sausage, bell peppers, cheese(s), green onions, and hash browns, topped by egg/milk/spices blend. Parmesan cheese on top. Sooo good on a cold morning.

I'll look through my notes for dinners. I know that sweet potatoes will be involved. And roasted onions - Sweeneyguy told me, back at the old Turley Dustup - "You seem like a schmuck, but this onion is pretty good." Camp kitchen can be rough when hungry meng are waiting.

Greg, I found some more good recipes - Pioneer Stew, Shepherd Pie, Poison Peppers.... etc... but if we're the only ones eating... maybe we should skip the pot meals and go straight to ribeye, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

I'll chip in on your ribeye and onion rings @brionic

I'm al in if we do a group cook again. I'll contribute all I can , other than cooking skills.

    @Gsamp , is @rphumble signed up?
It's a lot of work for him, so I understand if he doesn't want to lead the milk cans

For Friday supper I am pitching 2x4 Soup (from Scout's Outdoor Cookbook) 2 lbs hamburger, 2 cans Rotel tomatoes, 2 cans pinto beans, 2 cans condensed veg soup, I add 1 can corn. feeds 8-10 and we scale it up. Add Italian bread & butter.

Sounds like we want Milk Can for Sat. night supper.

    I am planning 2 - 2x2 apple cobblers. 1 Fri. night & 1 Sat. night.

I think the big group meals at night make for a better event when we all eat together.

I am thinking lunches on your own.

Get together and form your own small groups for breakfasts 6-10 sound good.

Any estimates on total numbers with staff yet.

    That's my two cents.

I called you a Friggin' Mook Get it straight.

I can pick up anything the day I fly in at Blair that is needed. I usually pick up a bag of charcoal for Dick and the table of goodness. I'll pick up some extra breakfast sausage, since I took two last year, bags of potatoes and eggs. I'll help out with whom ever needs it for cooking.

Great plan Dick. I will try to get an idea of numbers put up in a week or so. With the sign-up being on line, it is hard to keep up with how many we have and some may be waiting towards the end. Kurt is pretty busy this weekend, but he may have a better eyeball on the numbers. I'll give him a chance to chime in.

I'm all in. I love eating good food but I'm no chef so I'm not a recipe guy. I can bring whatever we need for Ingredients and I can help prep and chop and do whatever is needed to help make it.

The numbers are a little lower then last year. We have 19 registered plus a few verbal commitments.

We are at 25 right now including Greg, Terry, and I. That's a pretty good number for that camp. I'm not sure yet on @Guy @Jason @Skab or @XMP

I'm in for bringing whatever food is needed. I'll be driving down from St. Paul on Thursday and should be there in time for onion rings. I can make a run to the grocery store that evening or Friday to pick up some items.

I'm in on Dick's cobbler, but I'll pass on the regular meals. See you all soon:dblthumb:
