These are my pictures from the 2018 Bushcraft Meet at 88 Tactical's Tekemah location. Great spot, and a truly classic camp (even if the sites for individual campers aren't exactly level!). I was able to get to one of these meets for a day years ago (Might have been the first one? It was super cold) and finally my schedule allowed me to get to a regular meet. It didn't disappoint.

Didn't take a ton of pics myself, mostly hung out and just relaxed in the great property the 88 Tactical guys have up here. Spent a lot of time by the fire under the parachute.

My campsite for the weekend (Seek Outside 4 Man Tipi)

IAWoodsman gave a short class on PSKs, then whoever wanted to could do a quick PSK setup. I didn't participate, just observed.

While other folks set up their PSK shelters, I took a self-guided tour of a part of the 88 Tactical property I'd never been to before. Would be nice to have a few acres like this at my place.

Then came JUDGEMENT TIME. Not sure who's shelter each one is, but here are a few I took pics of.

The reflector wall was a nice touch on this one

Classic "green tunnel" through the cedars on the trail to the "high camp."

The "main camp" at the 88 Tactical property. I've never seen any other camp with this kind of wonderfully built setup. There's a good reason there's a T-Shirt made with this camp on it.

Under the Parachute. What a place to just hang out and enjoy the campfire.

The guys opened up their range for us for a while on Saturday afternoon. Didn't shoot much myself (I can shoot off my deck any time I want at my house) but really enjoyed watching other shoot and the impromptu instruction the 88 Tactical guys gave. They also did an awesome drill involving vehicles, there are surely some other guys with great videos of that.

That's all I've got. Others feel free to add your own pics. I regret missing this for so many years and hope to be able to go again in the future.

Checked my photo records--my first attendance was in late 2013. Here's how the Parachute Camp looked then:

What an amazing time. Have to really thank Kurt and the guys from 88 tactical for the facilities. Everyone for the amazing food and all the great giveaways. Terry for the PSK class and everyone for the great camaraderie.

Shooting drill from Saturday. The jokers put the seat all the way forward before I got into the car. Lol

Well, except for the long-fire that you invented. But that one went on the 'gram.

The only pic I got was the last morning breakfast in the pole shed while it started snowing. Had another great time. Thanks to 88 Tactical for putting on the event, the 88 T instructors (Terry, Kurt, and Greg). Thanks to @rphumble for some great food, Donny, Ross, Dave and all the others that did food prep. Thanks to @AlexBravo for the great beer and patch. @Pokey for the apple pie. Thanks to all the vendors and people that donated prizes. A special thanks to @Bosapah for donating the Discada that I won and @Shone for hauling it up here from Texas. I cannot wait to start using it.

It was a linear shaft, tapered to a point on one end, of sufficient strength so that it can penetrate the ground when driven by a blunt object, used to anchor items that are tied to it or rested against it. I call it a ‘stake’

foxfire was kind enough to make patches again for this years meet. For those that attended, email me your address and I will get them sent out. (Check your emails - I sent out a notice via our booking software with my address)

I have replies form some of you and they will go out today. If you are attending the Winter Camping symposium, I will have them there as well.
