This one is special. Standard Bushlite pattern but with with a thin ground 4v blade and excellent Ultrex canvas Micrata. The grind is one I have been playing with and when @batmanacw recommend a high saber at 5D/S for this steel I figured I would listen.

4v steel at 61rc. 5 d/s grind with shoulder of saber convexed for a smooth transition. 4 1/8 inch long blade and 4 5/8 handle. 5.64 ounces. 0.100 inches thick, a hair over 3/32. Gflex epoxy and 5/16 mechanical fasteners and 1/4 thong tubing, 550 cord fits through tubing. Ultrex Micarta, this Micarta is new to me, there is on excellnat ratio of cloth to resin, I might even horde this stuff away for my personal projects... Kydex sheath with outer pocket carry clip. $150 PayPal conus with insured priority male. If I make more of these knives, and I probaly will, the price with be higher. This knife took more time and belts than i am use to using SO next time will cost more...

I think diamond stones would be best. While 4v has less carbides than Cruwear all the carbides are vanadium and vanadium carbides are best cut with diamonds.

4v does have excellent edge stability in fine geometry edges, one of the reasons it has become popular for bladesport competitions.
