The first winter camp out of the season.
Awesome report. You are inspiring me, thanks for sharing.
I'll consider myself fortunate if I'm half that spry when I reach that age.
Glad to see your still getting out and enjoying life! That's a pretty sweet jeep, looks like a CJ5?
85...winter camping...YouTube filming?!
Hardcore and adaptable! I love it.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you post more!
A lot of respect Sir!
Pretty cool that,,, still got the hair o the bear on ya... Well done indeed...
I'm to young to feel your age and your to old to feel mine so knock it off.....Just kidding keep going as long as you can wish I could. I have more aches and pains that belong to older people lol Nice video
I need to start eating more healthy food or I won't be doing this in my later years.
Very inspiring indeed.
Thanks for sharing your outing with us. I hope I can follow in your footsteps and be doing the same types of things you’re doing when I’m your age. You’re an inspiration to us all!
Thank you for an inspiring post and a good report. joe
I'd like a little more info on that neat shelf you have on the tree there... looks like stiff aluminum, a couple pieces of aircraft cable for supports, probably bungies for the tree, and some paracord in there somewhere, and one piece well-drilled-out for weigh reduction. Care to elaborate?
Steel fish hook leaders can be used as supports but the real key is the prussic knot
used to adjust and secure the table. Most any type of line will work.
Tree Table... gotta make me one of those. Thanks.
Great trip report and enjoyed seeing your outing!
Well I started your video sir and saw a jeep, so I am in! Haha but more importantly because you are awesome! Respect.
Another tree table a little cheaper, but also a little smaller.
Hey there from Cascadia! What an inspirational video report. As a man 30 years your junior, I wrestle with the family ethics of Solo excursions. While your outing does not resolve my ethical dilemma, it does me so much good to see you taking it on in such flair. Good on ya, Pops (with respect). I also admire you skills video documenting the trip.
Wow, amazing! Thanks for your inspiring post!
Neat. She (the zipper queen) did my Hennessy hammock mods... fantastic work.
Great to see you enjoying the season
Thanks for taking us along on the adventure
I just purchased a monster fat bike. I may need a pair of training wheels. The roads are a bit narrow because of the snow drifts so that travel is somewhat restricted.
Most inspiring post of all time. I tip my hat to you sir!
Very good videos, thanks. The tarp set up was really nice and have to admit the tree table was a new and very impressive bit of kit for me. Not sure I'd be sleeping out like that at 9 degrees though. My guess is this wasn't your first BBQ. Nice country as well. Not the desert but still nice.
Thanks for the report. Very well done.
You sir, have raised the bar for all men alive today. You’re likely setting some records in your age bracket, while definitely getting after it more than most guys a fraction of your years. You’re a role model for us all. Keep up the great work, and please keep sharing the videos.
I just subscribed.
I just subscribed to your channel! Hats off to you for being an inspiration!
Thank you for posting and keep them coming, please.
Totally cool. Huge respect.

That was too good and the music was too!
@Carver 83, thanks for the awesome trip. I'll be subscribing to your YT channel! You're a legend!
Another way to extend your range, waiting for the video
