7 yards rested
I have one of the original concealed hammer LCRs....like it MUCH better than a .38 or .357 snubbie....
THis is actual my first personal modern snubnose !
@scottman how were those 32's out of it? Ive long thought it would be a good caliber option for my mom because of so many different rounds available.
soft shooting for sure !
25 yards rested single action
only 2 for 3 not sure where third went
Lcr ruger mitts test I can get it to reset with outdoor research mitts
Excellent write up. I like the concept of the .327 Mag quite a bit. It defiantly has its niche...But I just can’t being my self to pull the trigger on anything else than the .357mag which I have reloaded in the past to do pretty much ch anything I need a revolver to do. (I don’t even buy .38spec. Revolvers as I mostly just use .357 cases. )
I wouldn’t want to stock all the components. And To my eyes a .380 is as bout as small as I want to go In a semi auto... massive compromise as it is for a minimum “deep concealment” or “running” defensive handgun
I was not aware Ruger chambered the Revolver in 327!
50 yards ruger lcr x 327 federal swlong wadcutters way way less blast then pmr 30 22 magnum and to me less recoil
if you reload you for sure can load 357 light still have one less round in the LCR
Me too .
But a Single Seven sounds awesome to me . Maybe one day I'll purge and get one but for now I got what I got .
7 yards no recoil 32 acp
Thats a lot of versatility right there. May move to the top of list for my mom.
25 yards rested single action no recoil
how does the nef/h&r 32 swl feel as a shooter compared to the lcr 327 when shooting swl?
Not following sorry caffeine hasn’t kicked in yet
I don’t own a hr 32 revolver
I'm hoping by summer the LCRX3" comes out...
Unfortunately Ruger is about 8 months behind. The .357 was was supposed to come out last late summer...9mm is next and then the .327.... So it may be a while before we see the .327.
Ordering some 85 grain and 100 grain soft points after shipping and rebate around 50 cents a round
lucky gunner said they were going to gel test a lot of 32 s from the LCR. I'm looking forward t o their results
Came really close to ordering the lcr in .327, ended up with .38 ,no one locally stocks .327 and I really don't want to invest in yet another caliber to reload. It sure is one heck of a temptation tho.
Its a cryin shame Speer discontinued the excellent 115 Gold Dot SP bullet. Was a awesome bullet!!
I’m at the point I rarely even buy anything locally book testing data I’ve been running the same 9mm loads that no one locally carries anymore so I order online .
About the only thing I buy locally is 17 super
some stores use to carry 9 mm gold d ots, critical defense, tula etc no longer. So I'm back to online
Paul Harrel has done some meat targets with the 9mm LCR I'd be eager to see l ucky gunner gel test that model from a short barrel
I have the LCR in .38 SPL+P nice revolver I CC it sometimes.
Nice mines in my pocket right now !
Figuring out trajectory and not hitting the walls at 100 yards
Mom "loaned" Dad's old .32 to my sister, she shoots some .32 colts that I gave her.
I'm about to trade her something else just on account of I want Dad's gun back in my family heirloom collection.
Maybe this would work on account of it will shoot the ammo she has.
Honestly she's like my grandmother.
"Hey mr burgler, ya'll wait right there while I go find my pistol and load it up so I can shoot ya"
Not exactlly a non gun person, -can't grow up here and not know guns- but not much on actual self defense shooting, but having a gun is just a way of life for almost any southron lady.
Ya'll'd be amazed at the number of lil' ol ladies with their husbands old 6 inch revolver in 357 or similar riding in their purses.
Thanks for the food for thought.
I'll clean revolver and shoot 327 federal magnum when comes.... 32 acp at 100 is hilarious doubt I'll ever shoot any more of that at 100.
Middle two rounds at 10 inches on tape are 3 feet below POA at 100
4 days from order didn’t drive to cabelas wasting time to be disappointed that they don't have certain 9mm loads I need. 250 rounds at 50 cents a round
327 will be interesting
I think the 327 soft point ammo is legal in New Jersey
Are you loadin the 327 now?
