Always makes me sad when it is time to launder and pack away the wool for the year.
LOL, working on the same here.
+1. I love cold inclement weather! Fortunately I live in a climate where it last eight to ten months a year.....
Same overhere! Swanndri, merino shirts, Finnish wool Army pants, Norwegian sweaters all in the closet!
I am with you, I hate the hot weather and I like it colder
Summer, you say? (FMI.fi)
Our wool, at least most of it, never gets put away. The winter shells do get a break though.
Ditto. We usually only really get about 4-6 weeks of hot weather here, and even then the wool never gets put away. Man, I hate the summer! We're not there yet, so my favourite merino wool hoodie stays in my pack.
Woman tell me about it...The humidity + scorching heat in my AO keeps me hibernating till winter! Last winter we had 1 day where I got to wear a hoodie...it was in the 80's come Christmas Day!
I wear cargo shorts year round in my AO. Wool, who needs it here?
LOL @DomC ! My Queendom, such as it is, for year-round hoodie weather~!!
I live exactly where the sun-symbol is, above where it says -6 -9.
For the moment the weather is:
Better prepare for the winter, it's down to 30 F during the night and between 60 and 70 F during the day in the Southern Finland right now. From FMI.fi
Yesterday, it was 85 degrees at 8:30 in the morning here...and high humidity. I don't camp anymore until late September. And we won't talk about the bugs! The town of Clute, Texas, just down the road, has a Mosquito Festival each year.
Same here. We have been in a classroom in the morning and then outside in the afternoon. Completely bassackwards...
Don't pack your wool and down away. There is still snow in them hills.
