I have been looking for a custom full tang carving knife an ran across the AA Forge mini sloyd. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using a AA Forge as a primary carving knife.
    Thanks Phil

Handled several, do not own one. Only can say good things though!

I own a Huntsman and Mini-Trapper set up for a double sheath and really like the pair.

AA Forge makes a great knife with a very comfortable handle. I've only handled a Woodsman, but I have no doubt the Sloyd would handle just as well.

I own a Mini-Woodsman and plan on ordering a Sloyd very soon. Adam makes top-draw knives.

As good as any, better than most at a good price.

I met Adam at the Blade Show. One of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. His knives are beautiful and extremely well made.
