No, that is the cost of the extra AIR Amazon packages everything in. These knives come to you in a box the size of a VW Beetle, i am sure! :D

Snap 'em up before they're all gone!

If you're really looking for one, there was one a while ago at Dan's antiques in Ironwood, down on the corner of Arora and whatever that other street is.
    It might still be there.
I bought an Open Country Mors type pot there for 7 bucks, and an American made 12'' Crescent wrench for 8 bucks, last time I was in there.

Thank you so much @Primordial for sharing this. I know I'm slow sometimes, but this has helped me understand both how "new math" works and how Mr. Bezos got so rich.

I go there all the time! STAY OUT OF MY SHOP!! Stop stealing all my gear! That's where I get all my old, and good woods bumming stuff lol. My best find there was an original Bear Archery Bowhunters kit. The whole thing was intact with the proper knife, norton stone, and small Nicholson file. Plus the sheath was in good shape. Those sets run for almost $400 to collectors, and they are as rare as hens teeth. I bought it for $25.00 ;)

I did see one there the last time I was in and it looked to be a Camillus one with the handle in pretty rough shape...was there a better one you seen?

Lol...... I like going in there. My wife has stuff in the house from there too.

And he pretty much say, "Screw your laws, I own this place and I'll sit at the counter and smoke cigarettes if I damn well please."

I didn't look that close, I just remember seeing one in that case on the back side of the counter.

Btw, if someone does want one of those Ontario knives, MidwayUSA has them on sale at the moment for the same $36.99 and free shipping. They are supposed to have them in stock 9/12/20. They don't mention any special pricing for buying more than one.
(I really, really try to avoid Amazon!!)

It's probably the same one I seen then.

That last thing I bought was great find on a vintage Marbles pin on compass a few months back.

    Warning!

I had the knives ready to purchase, and then read the description. Sorry folks, don't get these.

They contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects.

I am sure glad I noticed that before I completed the order. !

    I'm amused - 1 for $37 w/free shipping, 2 for $175?
    I think I'd rather buy 5 @ $37 each for $185...

Supply and demand, amigo! Ever since the bolt knife thread started gaining traction the demand for bolt knives has sky rocketed. As such, so has the price.

    or

The price of the knives is extremely cheap. The seller is just a millenial using "talk to text". The ad says $344.98 when the seller stated that the knives were "three for $4.98" .

It's not every day that you see three bolt knives for under $5.

I see that a lot on Amazon (not so extreme usually). A single item is often cheaper then multiples. I wonder if it's just a way to scam people who aren't paying attention and maybe that's where the real profits are.
