Hi yall, looks like my old knapping kit was either taken or thrown away by my last roommate. She was a PETA type and real jerk and it looks like she broke into my steamer trunk and threw it away.

When I lived in Wyo I knew where to get antlers no trouble. Now I'm just outside Denver and I honestly dont have a clue where to go for these. Anyone have a lead or suggestion? I can make the copper tool but I always liked antlers

I've wondered the same thing... I'd like to make some bag/sheath buttons.

I wonder if Amazon sells deer antlers... LOL (they probably do).

You think that's evil, she got mad at me when I told her I was moving out and threw away an entire chunk of elk (like 10-15 lbs of meat) and a 9 lbs salmon from the freezer, and then either drank a bottle of 20 year old scotch or poured it down the drain. She was capable of either.

May her stool never be soft and both sides of her pillows always be hot.

400 dollars a month lower rent than my previous place and I got to live in a house with a yard. I had known her for along time, I just didnt know that she was the devil!

I would love to honestly, but I'd rather rebuild it than go through the guaranteed hell that will be trying to get money out of her. I know the limits of my patience

Antlers? Boy, I dint even know. I've got no pressure flakers, no punches, no boppers or billets. I was gonna make arrow heads, knives, and spear points. I'm still a rank amateur at this, I've only made a dozen or so very bad arrow heads and about 2 knives and a single spear head (also bad)

I really dont know what I need, if I'm being frank with you. I had two pressure flakers, one longer and one shorter, one billet made of an elk antler/skull attachment, and a fulcrum thing, whatever those are called, before. I have no idea if that's a decent set or not. I never got a copper flaker or bopper, and I only had a handful of abrader and hammer stones.

I will throw some antler pieces in with the flint I am sending you. Every garage sale in my area always seems to have a cheap box of antler at it and I scoop it up

Yes! ebay has them loads of them I got 6 sets last time for 35 bucks from about medium size down. but there are many listings. The dog chew route is good also, they are not treated because the dog is going to eat it.

If you still have her address you ought to send her some antlers and a big ol ham. Or a one month subscription to Burcher Box.

I feel I have to make up for every piece of meat those PETA folks don't eat. :)

Problem with finding a good women is she's already spoken for and the guy is a bum. probably , well may be , well some of them are .
Speaking for my self of course.
Become a black smith , you can make your own tools and not have to worry about women. From the ringing of the hammer/ anvil you can't hear them talking.

Either that or hunters with way too many extra sets. But yes. I see a deer on my way to or from work nearly 100% of the time. I see at least one deer every day it seems. Sometimes 30+
