A bit of an ice / freezing rain overnight transitioning to rain later.
Busy since filling up feeders yesterday. Finches, sparrows, chickadees, mourning doves, red winged blackbirds, cow birds, blue jay, male cardinal, and the purple martins are back now. Grey squirrels and a rabbit have picking up bits from under the feeder.

Around mid-day a large red-bellied woodpecker showed up for a bit then took off to a nearby oak

I put up a feeder for the first time in several years and have a male blue grosbeak visiting it daily, along with cardinals, chickadees and tufted titmouse. Surprised yesterday to see 3 indigo buntings on the ground underneath the feeder.

I took mine own last week. Prior to that I had chickadees, nuthatches, tufted titmice, juncos, blue jays, gold finches and a red bellied sapsucker.
