    I just picked an older one at a estate sale with aluminium but its missing and end piece i got it pretty cheap but where can i find the end piece im almost 50 and slleping on the ground i cannot do anymore thanks for the help

    Not sure where you'd get an actual replacement part but if you are handy and have the bar from the other end to use as a guide... should be able to find some aluminum square bar stock at Home Depot or TSC. A little time with a dremel and make keyholes in it.

    Most of those cots are so tight, the one end keeps snapping down anyway. Put a wooden stick in it at the foot end and call it a day.

    Get a wooden dowel and notch it with a drill. That was my bed for 15 months.

    I slept on mine for over a year and a half i was in 1st gulf war back in 1990 fresh out of high school the wooden dowel sou ds like best bet thanks
