Good evening all, Continuing on with my sales in hopes of avoiding the down turn in the forest industry here, I am going to auction off my older school Gossman Tusker. We are not in trouble or anything like that here yet but I want to stay flexible in case we get caught up in the slow down. Mods please feel free to delete or please send me a PM if there is a better avenue for this* Bidding is closed. Congratulations to @Daniel Pack with a winning bid of $550! I will keep this going until 15 June Saturday Morning @ 0900hrs This is a Scott Gossman Tusker made in the fall of 2009 and is a very cool blade. Specs of the knife are as follows: O1 steel 8” blade with 1” choil 3/16” thick steel 1 1/“2 blade width Green canvas micarta scales Brass bolts and guard Standard Gossman leather pouch sheath lefty Pancake leather sheath with brass stud and removable drop loop Spec Ops Survival Sheath in OD with an ITW G Hook installed instead of the plastic Also included in the package is an unused PSK in A2 with a leather neck sheath. The finish on the blade has superficial scratches but nothing that goes into the standard finish from Scott. There is a small chip in the bottom of one of the scales of micarta that could easily be smoothed out (I don't own any equipment that can do that*) Overall the actual blade has zero chips and is wicked sharp. I think Scott is open to a spa treatment that would bring this back to new but please contact him direct* The balance in this blade is excellent and reminds me of a Randall as far as the motif but with Scotts bomber grind and heat treat. Thanks for looking and please feel free to PM if you need any more info/photos etc!
