    Evenin y'all.

This coming memorial day weekend, the wife and I are wanting to go to the Audubon Zoo. Our plan is to pull our camper with us and camp instead of a hotel or whatever.

So, looking for a family friendly campsite somewhere close to the zoo with hookups and such for RVs. Swimming and fishing would also be great!

    Any input?

tickfaw state park is a little drive. fountainbleu is very attractive. both of these will be a good hour drive or so to the zoo. I do not know New Orleans that well to make any recommendations down there.
