Scott's grinds are my favorite of all the knife makers I have tried (quite a few). You won't find exotic woods and fancy shit on his knives. Just hard use cutting tools. Love every one of mine!

I'm going to use the red coral more. That canvas burlap is new also. It will end up dark brown and is harder then the other burlap I've used.

Those are awesome. If the stars all line up someday soon and I can safely justify ending my knife buying hiatus, I'm celebrating by buying a Tusker companion.

How hard do you find it is to sharpen the stainless blades in the field?

If you go afield with the knife fully sharpened, I doubt you will need to bother with it unless you hit something hard and ding or rough up the edge. This is what I would recommend having to sharpen in the field if need be.

Every knife I own is either m4 or higher end stainless and it has been for a couple of years... this DMT 2 sided diamond sharpener is all I use. As far as field sharpening goes... I've never been able to do enough in the field even on a week long trip to need to sharpen an m4 or s90v blade. If I needed to though this sharpener will more than handle any issue. This is the coarse/fine model I also have the extra fine and extra extra fine I use at home along with dmt diamond paste down to 1 micron. IMG_1711.JPG IMG_1712.JPG

That right there is a beauty Scott! If I didn't already have the belt belt knife around I would snag that one up!

Someone grab that one so it can grow up to look like mine! :18:
