Wow, those didn't last long... A survival Puukko in 3v would be very nice... :)

Never seen so few offerings on your store front before. Guess thats good for you! Anything in the works? I got that tax return itch and the elk draw fell through. How about a Deer Creek with elk grips to make me feel better? And a brass guard? Please?

I guess it's a good thing, but whenever I have some finished, they get snatched up quick. I'm trying to keep up. I'm a one man shop so it's takes some time to get more made. I can crank them out pretty quick but I've had some other obstacles slowing me down. More are coming. I do appreciate all the support.

An A2 or 3V Deer Creek with elk scales and a brass guard sounds like a Rendezvous brawl amongst us all to get one...

I would seriously love a survival puukko with a tapered tang. It's such a great knife but that handle has so much weight compared to the blade

The size of the handle is the only thing that has stopped me from buying one.

In all the ones I've had(3) and used I think the size of the handle is perfect. Having less weight in the handle would make it even more perfect

I like the added heft in the handle of the Survival Puukko. I certainly like the size of it as well, especially shines when doing heavy cutting chores. You can really bare down on it for extended periods with great comfort and no fatigue.

Another GST posted today. Better go grab it! These are made of D2 so i imagine Scott has to order steel specifically for them, meaning he can't just make another up when he runs out. They work AMAZING!

Been using mine to touch up several tools, other than knives, and it works well on a variety of items. Buy one and do a dozen things with it! :D

That said, I wonder if that OTHER Deer Creek is still available? :D

Seriously, 3V is an excellent steel as is 1V. 1V is a high impact resistant shock steel that can handle abuse more so then 3V but then again we're talking things you shouldn't do to a knife. 1v's edge will dent, not roll or chip just like S7. 3V can roll or chip depending on the heat treatment. I would say edge holding would be similar. Wear/corrosion resistance would be higher for 3V.
