I think just 3.
Now available, A2 steel U.L.P and two O1 PSK knives.
Well, share with the class!
What did you score?
ULP, oh yeah .
Why have TC and WTK not sold?
I would have bought that TC a long time ago if it had solid color handles. I love the knife and steel, just not a fan of the two tone micarta. I'm boring.
Has the buying always been this frenzied? When I first found Gossman n the fall there were 2 pages of knives.
As long as I've been in the knife business, 21 years this year, I've never been able to figure out why the sales vary during different times of the year. When I was taking orders I had a 2 1/2 year backlog. I managed to get it caught up and it went down to 6 months in 2008 after the stock market crash.. This year has been extremely unusual for sales. The market is always changing as is the economy. Being established in a particular market definitely helps a business reach stable sales. I feel I've reached good stability in my market.
I'm happy for you my friend you deserve every bit of success.
Because my hot water heater quit, my large lawn mower broke, and I’m putting away money for two GAWs. Other wise they would be in my stable.
You'll always have a loyal following as long as you're doing things the way you do.
I get tired of BS and games pretty quick which is why I'll always be a supporter of yours and I have written many others off.
Thanks @Pharmer I really haven't changed anything since I started making knives. I'm always trying to do better. The way I see it, I'm just a regular guy that makes knives. Just the same as anybody else. This is just what I do for a living like any other working man.
Now available. CFK CPM 3V steel.
These are fantastic knives. I love mine at 5/16 thick. 3v at that thickness will be amazing
Now available. Here's one right outta left field. Pre-owned, slightly used but I re-sharpened and re-did the forced patina with gun blue. A PSK Sr. S7 with dark brown micarta. Neck carry sheath.
Will you have anything at Gosstoberfest? I love some of these designs, but I have always been a "want to hold it in person" type shopper.
I hope to but the way they are selling can't be sure.
I would like to know more about gosstoberfest I’m in the general area
There's a thread about it in my forum. Just a yearly gathering on the property where my shop is. 3 days of camping, food, booze and knowledge shared among many skilled individuals. Info in that thread.
Dang did psk Sr sell already? I gotta refresh faster
Now available, Polaris 3V.
Now available, Polaris A2 steel, Tusker CPM 1V steel.
For the first time that I have seen the Gossman online store is completely sold out!!! Congrats on all your recent success sir!!
If theyres something you're interested in you could post it. Someone attending might have one to bring for you to see. That way you'll get an idea so you can go for it when it shows up in the store.
Now available, two S7 Tusker Lites and two Deer Creeks, A2 steel.
Must. Have. Self. Control.
Bet those will not last long.
@S.Gossman will you be making different lengths of the Tusker lite?
That is a possibility. Maybe 8" to 12" on them.
Yay, I got a Deer Creek in A2! Been pining for one of those for a while.
Tusker lite yummm
Oooooooh Tusker lites!
And 8” would be super cool! Lightweight bruiser right there!
Is there a secret spot on the available knives page where the Tusker lites are hidden? I’m not seeing them. Dammit.
On their way to new homes i bet.
They sold. I will be making more.
So, I missed the post about what the specs are for a Tusker lite. Are they 1/8”? Any 5” Tusker lites in the future?
Tusker Lites, Outstanding! Where do I sign up for one?
@S.Gossman What does a Tusker lite 8" S7 go for$$? Need to fill my payal up.
Nope, they just sell quick lol good for him, maybe not so much for some of us lol!
@Fixedblade im not Scott obviously, but the 11” version was listed at $490 I believe, so a bit less or thereabouts for an 8” version.
I would looove a tusker lite 8". Sounds about perfect to me.
Seems like there is a bit of a line for one.
And lots of itchy trigger fingers.
If you guys want to see an 8" version, it can be done. The reason for the 12" is that the Knives Illustrated article advertised a 12" model and I have had requests from emails for them. The Predator is not going to change size only steels.
Yes, please make a 8” TL in S7.
Please make several in fact.
I'd be curious how it would compared with a normal 8" tusker. Honestly probably close enough I wouldn't get one.
If by 8” you really mean 5”, then yes. Yes, yes, yes. There was a post on bladeforums today asking what your favorite fixed blade was. I posted my 5” A2 Tusker. The only thing I would ever change would be to make it lighter. A 5” Tusker lite in 3V or S7 would make me sell off a lot of other knives.
Seeing as I no longer have an 8 inch Tusker.......
Part of me suspects some folks will like a Tusker which weighs maybe half as much as a normal BBT configuration? Lighter just means I use it for longer.....
Must be why my Polaris is my EDC.....
