I would have bought that TC a long time ago if it had solid color handles. I love the knife and steel, just not a fan of the two tone micarta. I'm boring.

As long as I've been in the knife business, 21 years this year, I've never been able to figure out why the sales vary during different times of the year. When I was taking orders I had a 2 1/2 year backlog. I managed to get it caught up and it went down to 6 months in 2008 after the stock market crash.. This year has been extremely unusual for sales. The market is always changing as is the economy. Being established in a particular market definitely helps a business reach stable sales. I feel I've reached good stability in my market.

Because my hot water heater quit, my large lawn mower broke, and I’m putting away money for two GAWs. Other wise they would be in my stable.

Thanks @Pharmer I really haven't changed anything since I started making knives. I'm always trying to do better. The way I see it, I'm just a regular guy that makes knives. Just the same as anybody else. This is just what I do for a living like any other working man.

Now available. Here's one right outta left field. Pre-owned, slightly used but I re-sharpened and re-did the forced patina with gun blue. A PSK Sr. S7 with dark brown micarta. Neck carry sheath.

Will you have anything at Gosstoberfest? I love some of these designs, but I have always been a "want to hold it in person" type shopper.

There's a thread about it in my forum. Just a yearly gathering on the property where my shop is. 3 days of camping, food, booze and knowledge shared among many skilled individuals. Info in that thread.

If theyres something you're interested in you could post it. Someone attending might have one to bring for you to see. That way you'll get an idea so you can go for it when it shows up in the store.

Nope, they just sell quick lol good for him, maybe not so much for some of us lol!

@Fixedblade im not Scott obviously, but the 11” version was listed at $490 I believe, so a bit less or thereabouts for an 8” version.

If you guys want to see an 8" version, it can be done. The reason for the 12" is that the Knives Illustrated article advertised a 12" model and I have had requests from emails for them. The Predator is not going to change size only steels.

I'd be curious how it would compared with a normal 8" tusker. Honestly probably close enough I wouldn't get one.

If by 8” you really mean 5”, then yes. Yes, yes, yes. There was a post on bladeforums today asking what your favorite fixed blade was. I posted my 5” A2 Tusker. The only thing I would ever change would be to make it lighter. A 5” Tusker lite in 3V or S7 would make me sell off a lot of other knives.

Seeing as I no longer have an 8 inch Tusker....... :D

Part of me suspects some folks will like a Tusker which weighs maybe half as much as a normal BBT configuration? Lighter just means I use it for longer..... :)

Must be why my Polaris is my EDC.....
