Thanks for the info I’ll get one next time I’m there!
Just be careful it's a sharp blade in a cloth sheath. Never had any problems with dual carry but gst is harder and will wear psk
If it were me (if I'd been fast enough to snag one) I'd like to carry a PSK in kydex around my neck.
Now available, two A2 Bolos.
Mmmm python those look great
Dang, that Bolo with Green micarta looks sweet. Too bad I was stuck in work without phone access. Someone got a looker! Looking forward to someone's pics of that thing in action.
Fyi 3v is thinner and lighter vs a2
Great link thanks for sharing.
Now available. Deer Creek A2 steel. Large GST's back in stock.
Great looking DC! Would love to see some of that burlap on some big blades too!
You don't know how bad I want to baton that stump but it's photo taking stump. No can do. Lol.
The DC in A2 is basically the perfect all-around woods knife. I had a really nice one in M4 as well, but I prefer the overall properties of A2. Just a perfect blade and handle. Love that burlap micarta, too. It looks different on your scales than anyone else's for some reason.
Edit to add: I have been catching up on History Channel's Alone, and I keep coming to the conclusion that I would take my A2 DC with me if I ever got on that show (not that I would last long, ha!) That or my Gossman/Estela Bolo. Or... maybe my 8" BBT?
^^^ you guys are terrible influences. I’m just glad I have an understanding wife (for now). Now to justify why I need the DC in my head...
If you don't have a DC, you clearly need one for the collection. And if you do have one, well one is none and two is one.
I just need to keep making space before I can add another Gossman to my stable of three.
You do make a very compelling argument...
And that beautiful DC is sold. Congrats to whoever snagged it!
I have three of these available.
Everyone needs one of these! Excellent work Scott!
Sweet! Scored one!
Went ahead and snagged the last one. Looking forward to comparing it to my 01 one, as it’s thinner stock. What can I say, but I’m weak...
Thanks guys! These will ship tomorrow.
Now available, Tusker Companion, A2 steel, 1/8" thick.
Available, Polaris CPM S60V/440V.
Man I wish I was in a place to grab that 1/8" TC.
Available, Tusker, CPM S60V/440V steel.
Available, Polaris, CPM 4V steel.
I've had a 4v its goooooood
@S.Gossman how often do you make the survival puukko? I've seen a few with different steel types, do you have a preference of steel for blades of this size? It's one of your designs that keeps drawing me back in.
The main steel I use is O1, but have made some in A2 and S7. I work them in when I'm going to do knives in that size range.
Thanks Scott, I'll be keeping an eye out.
Theres a great one on the exchange right now by @pbubsy
If you are looking for one, I have two of these available in the online store. Esee Gibson axe.
Now available but won't ship until Tues. May 7th. BBT 1V and Short Bolo 3V.
Wow! A couple great ones! Some one especially got lucky with that BBT!
CPM 1V in the woods. LOL
I've been working out with 25 pound weights so that I can easily wield one like that someday!
That one weighs just about 2 pounds.
Now available two 3V Bolo's. Won't ship until Monday May 13th.
Now available, two 3V Short Bolos
Those went quick!!
Available, Kubo II S7 steel.
Did you get one?
Need another knife like a hole in my head, but @pbubsy talked me into this one. Some green micarta and one sweet looking knife are headed my way. No regrets right?
Damn! That was fast. Thanks!
