I have begun to keep my eye out for a SET here, and I was wondering if us left-handed misfits are lucky enough to get a lefty sheath.
Lets say you offer up a knife, and I say "I'll take it". Can you then swop the sheath for a lefty instead?

Never received an automated email alert for “Availabile SETs” during the last three days, yet many posts have been made.

Congrats to whomever acquired a new SET!

All beautiful, well designed and very well made knives.

    Made for multi-generational use.

I've experienced the same problem intermittently. Too many people are watching this thread and overloading the servers!

@voortrekker I frequently do not get any notices on this and other forums, I think it’s a software issue

Deal of the day, freehand custom.

.100" A2 tool steel, Oak scale, Rambo camo epoxied jute wrap, kydex belt sheath.

Similar to the size of an M1 but a little slimmer.

Thanks guys. This should be a handy knife and easy to carry. Think a small kit will fit under the strap.

Starting to like that carry. Experimenting with trying to get the knife to lay flat as possible.

I would love that style. An Apache (or similar smaller SET) with a cross draw style sheath would be my ultimate hiking knife.

If I'm hiking/walking with a pack without a waist strap, I find the horizontal/scout carry to be ideal. The knife just disappears until you need it.

awww poop. hate the time change sometime. Asleep for the first one and still at work for the second. Half my motivation for SET purchases are the sheaths.....and I don't have a SET scout carry. congrats to @SonsOfLiberty and @VanGo

I have this knife and am looking to get a fire steel made for it. Brian mentioned it is Vintage Micarta. Have been looking and came across this.

    https://www.sugarshackforge.com/available-work/vintage-canvas-micarta

Anyone have any idea if this is the right material? It looks darker, but I'm really bad at matching color. I'm also not sure if the material would match better once it was shaped, sanded, etc...It's also available in regular, dense and coarse… :17: lol!!

Chiquita PSK (Personal Survival Knife) sold as a blank so you can modify as you wish or leave as is flat to not take up space in a minimalist kit.

    3/32” A2 tool steel with 1/4” holes, 7 1/8” overall and a 3 1/4” cutting edge.

Pretty much the same as the original PSK but has bird beak pommel.

Chiquita PSK $110 each shipped. 12 pieces available.

Wonder how hard it would be to take out some material in the handle. Maybe drill out the piece in between two of the holes. Would it mess up the balance too much? Any other negatives to doing this? There is something I’d like to possibly try, but there’s about a 95% probability I will mess it up. Lol

I harvested some Manzanita last weekend. I think it’s going to turn out very pretty.
