Our hero was being held against his will in the back seat with no way to roll down the windows .
The driver (let’s just guess )
had a lunch of bean casserole and boiled cabbage .
His only option was to dig out his trusty zippo and burn off some of the methane
. Unfortunately he miscalculated the volume of gas present .

The Constitution should be respected to the extent it recognizes higher, eternal laws.

So, if the Constitution is amended to something ridiculous and anti-thetical to natural law... those higher, eternal laws don't cease to exist.

For example, the majority votes to breach a marital covenant. Even if you get a constitutional amendment passed -- it is still a violation of something sacred and eternal.

Seems like a simple analysis- Benchmade is entitled as a business to do whatever makes them a legal profit. Customers are entitled to judge and speak out about what BM chose to do. Some agree, some don't. If you find a corporation supporting values antithetical to your own values, speaking out or walking away is entirely appropriate.

Big custom stock company chose feebi sniper Lon Horiuchi for their face in an advertising campaign. All legal. Lot of dedicated shooters took offense, walked away. I still do not mention the company name.
We all have to stand by our own values, and be judged by how we do that.

The other day I left Home Depot carrying more caulk than I could comfortably hold with both hands.

    What does that mean?!?!?

It's an interesting question but IMO its overtly political. If you were to re-ask it in a sub-forum like the philosophy one perhaps, I would give an answer.

IMO, this forum is better without politics and this thread is full of political trolling and baiting.
