Just sharing a bit of Info:
    I've owned a " Big Green Egg " for over 20 + years.

    https://bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/whats-on-your-smoker.235821/#post-4104410

IMHO, its the best " BBQ Grill / Smoker " on the Market.

I was recently web surfing " You Tube " for BBQ Recipes & Tips.

The " JoeTisserie " caught my attention. Its made by a different Vendor " Kamado Joe ". However, after reading several reviews.

A few commented, the JoeTisserie, perfectly fits the " Large Big Green Egg ".

So,.. I bought a " JoeTisserie " from Amazon, along with a pair of " Stainless Steel- Indirect Heat, Charcoal Trays ". Hmmm, an early Christmas & Birthday Gifts..TOOOO Myself

I was a bit concerned, the " Charcoal Baskets " ( Indirect Heat Source ) wouldn't fit properly.. But, it all worked out.

I've reviewed several " You Tube Videos ". A few use the Charcoal Piled onto one side, for " Indirect Heat " Grilling.

Looks good, the motor is usually the first thing to go with a rotisserie so cook quickly !

I've had some experience with a " Rotissirie Unit " in the past, using a " Propane Gas Grill ". :3:

This will be a nice accessory for the " Big Green Egg ". Its one of my few Hobbies, the Wifey doesn't mind me spending a bit of cash $$$ on.:dblthumb:

She doesn't mind me taking the lead, on our daily Menu, :32:

    I've made several attempts @ " BBQing - Slow Smoking a Ham " over the past 20 + years .. :22:

    Unfortunately
,.. I can't seem to make one better than " Honey Baked Hams "..:56:

So, I just end buying one from them :32:
    https://www.honeybaked.com

    Hmmmm, Technically .. I would consider this " Two Green ( Uncooked / Raw / Uncured ) Hams " & Two Green Pork Shoulders ".. ?? :33:

    EDIT:

    P.S.: Green Meat
Meat that has not had enough time after slaughter to developed tenderness and flavor :D :D

    Thanks :dblthumb:

OLD POST: Green Pork Shoulder :3:

" I stopped by " Wally Mart " & picked up a large Pork Shoulder. Wifey cut it half & I cooked it on my Big Green Egg.

A little dry rub for seasoning & massaged with olive oil.

Temp set @ approx 250 degrees for 3 1/2 hours.

I let it rest for approx 30 mins, before slicing.
You can see the slight " Pink Smoke Ring ", just starting to form. :dblthumb:

Wifey is a bit finicky, & doesn't like toooo much of a Smokey flavor :11:

    Meat was Moist & Juicy... :32: "
