I have been using this for a few years now and I highly recommend it.

Blue emu is a white cream that comes in a small tub. It’s not greasy or oily, dries quickly and feels cool when applied. Moderate pain associted with stiff or mildly arthritic joints Or sore muscles just fades away. Mama use to talk about joints “going nuts”. That was a polite way of saying it feels
Like someone trying to pry your kneecap off with a dull knife. I can take 4-6 Advil or rub some BE on it and within 30 minutes it calms down. If you have sore joints or aches and pains I can’t recommend it enough. It’s really good stuff.

    Mike wood,
I will give it a try based on your experience. Been working on things to reduce NSAIDs. Orthopedics said make sure you take plenty, GI said don't take any! Pretty sure the answer is going to be between the two extremes...but I can try stuff like this too. The icy hot type stuff works somewhat as well, but the smell is awful and it winds up places it doesnt help my comfort :).

Do you get swelling in your knee with the flare-up or "just" pain? If swelling, does BE help that or just the pain?

Blue Emu works pretty well, I like the fact that there is no smell.

I have tried with it this last year and it does seem to give me some relief when my right shoulder disagrees with the weather changes. Trying to not use ibuprofen too much.
