ill be taking a trip to Boston in the near future with a buddy.

Looking for fun stuff near there to see or do.

Does not have to be bushcrafty.

    Thinking gentleman stuff.

Drink in a great atmosphere where you can talk and take in scenery.

Maybe old school barber, get a classic shave.

    A great dinner.

    How is the Harvard museum?

Harvard university museum is cool. Worth seeing. The science museum and aquarium are both awesome.

There is a cool tobaco shop in harvard square. Worth the visit.

Check out the bell in hand tavern and others in the area. Union oyster house for example.

    https://www.boston-discovery-guide.com/historic-boston-bars.html

Depending upon when you visit, and how 'hipster' you are, we have an axe throwing pub opening up in sommerville.

I would say, go to the north end for dinner out. Find paul revere's house, there are good restaraunts around that area.

Also, check out www.newenglandbushcraft.org as there are often meetups organised on weekends in the new england area, some in boston.

Freedom Trail and have a drink in the Green Dragon Tavern or Bell In Hand Tavern. Some of their early patrons were founding fathers.

Depending on where you are on your walkabout the city, give this place a shot; The Blackstone Boston.
I've always been done right by them, whether it's a beer to settle my walk or a quick dinner before catching the train out of the city.

Plus side is right down the street from Quincy Market. A little trappy, so probably not on your list but a good thing to know where it is.

If you like seafood, you're in luck. Legal Seafoods is a local chain and okay, but I'd rather go to a smaller place. I really like The Daily Catch. Otherwise, check out the Italian food in the north end. If you'll have a vehicle, check out the Saugus Ironworks. It's nifty.

I thought about it a bit more.

    • If you like art, check out the ICA
    • I enjoy the aquarium. It's great if you like that sort of thing.
    • The Harpoon brewery is in the city and offers tours
    • Check out the USS Constitution and its museum in the Charlestown Navy Yard (get there by MBTA boat from near the aquarium). At certain times of year they have some tall ships there as well.
    • Go to Sweet Cheeks BBQ near Fenway for amazing biscuits
    Okay I'm done now.

Pft as far as I’m concerned the city runs all the way to 495 ;p so he’d still be in the city lol

in my mind 495 is the Mass state line, west of 495 is only considered as additional tax funds.

Wound up in Chinatown and had a awesome meal at this place with a wall of fishtanks. U pick what u want . I gave them free reign on preparation .
Ended the night with a carriage ride.
