This is my 1st knife purchase of 2018. It is awesome. Good snap and fit and finish almost perfect. Blade looks sorta like a stone wash. Not as much weight like the standard 110 but enough weight that it doesn’t feel cheap. Very happy with it

Thanks for sharing. Looks good does it have a metal liner in the handle or is it all plastic?

Awesome! I ordered one earlier today for my old man. He's a big Buck 110 fan, but he doesn't carry one most of the time because of the weight. Looks like a combo of the Buck 110 and the Gerber LST - as I recall, my old man carried an LL Bean-branded Gerber LST in his pocket for most of the 90s and likely some of the 80s too.

The replacement from my friends at Buck is solid, and the neck sheath makes this my favorite 110 model to carry. A great knife around water or for duck hunting in the rain. Light and rust proof.

The sheath was made by a master craftsman from bladeforums.

I haven't seen one of those in a long time. Pretty sure I had one years ago...I think ?? Good to know I can still get one,but my trusty ol 110 is still going strong... I do like the light weight feature though...

Excellent! Thanks for the info. Also, thanks to the OP for this thread. This looks like a super utility folder that doesn't cost so much that I'd be afraid to use it. Thanks again.

Do I want the 112 Slim or the 112 LT?

Slim has the pocket clip, is slimmer, and microscopicly lighter. LT has the same thickness handle as the 110 LT which I love.

    Help me choose!!

I already have the 110 LT and it's great. It's a perfect backpacking and trout folder. I like the grip texture!

I agree, the Slim looks tacky and that clip is obnoxious, so I just ordered the 112 LT.

I'm trying to save up for a motorcycle and these new knife threads aren't helping!

I agree. BUT Buck sees how popular the thumb stud and pocket clip are in today's market, so I can't blame them for offering this knife. I LOVE the 110, so as far as I'm willing to venture off the traditional trail is the 110LT.

I'll be ordering a 112LT soon, as I see it making even more sense than the 110LT. The 112's shorter blade makes featherweight model a great idea. And it's short enough for easy pocket carry

Maybe, but I can get a gas station special with thumb stud and clip that look better than that. At least the 110 version still looks nice.

No. Like a full micarta scaled version with a clip!

I've looked for a distributor but so far all I can find is that seller on BF.

See page four for additional pics of the micarta 110. Wish I could find a distributor.
