    Hi there,

I am going to spend July bumming/backpacking around Norway. I'm switching careers and about to start a family, so I figure there'll be no better time to get weird in the woods for a month.

I hear you can set up camp and fish, etc. just about everywhere. I'll be doing plenty of research between now and then, but also wanted to post on BCUSA to see if anyone had advice about backpacking, gear do's and don'ts, Scandinavia, or whatever else comes to mind.

Any advice, suggestions, high-fives, etc are more than welcome!

    Thanks,
    Tahm

I've backpacked for many years & been coast to coast here in the United States. But...

    ENJOY brother !
I'll be watching for your trip reports.

This sounds like it will be one of the most memorable times in your life. I am looking forward to hearing about your trip. I know little about that part of the world, please post some pictures of your adventure. Good luck!
