That's not old.
I grew up enjoying 78 rpm records and listening to radio programs on a crystal set. Still have a few candle stick phones .
The bat and board house I lived in had knob and tube wiring. And Ronald Ragan was an actor.

That got me giggling like a fool ...[emoji23]
I had times like that, not because I'm old, but we were at times that poor.
Me after bragging I've removed all the unnecessary gear from my pack:
Hope nobody gets offended, this makes me giggle like a fool:
20 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash and Steve Jobs, now we have no hope, no cash and no jobs. I sure hope Kevin Bacon doesn't die.

Credit to @weltondl for that one ...
Still giggling today...[emoji57]
The better half and I took a hike yesterday. After about an hour, I was worried I had gone death. Then I realized she had stopped to rest and I had kept walking. The silence in the woods was amazing.
Is this for a day hike or an overnighter?
Arn't there weight limits to mountain trails ?
Day hike, no room for my hammock with that setup
Save some money and do it yourself...

Being an old truck driver, I wish I could give this one multiple likes! Hang in there budd, and keep telling me how I'm number one.
That's the cutest koala ever right?
I made up those last seven myself just for you guys.
If you haven't seen them, go to YouTube and search "low bridge, tall truck". There are dozens of vids of big trucks failing to make it under low bridges.
Some of them really make you wonder about the intelligence of a few truck drivers.
Or bridge engineers.
Or the states who leave the same overhead height sign up for years even though they've put 8 inches of asphalt on top of the original road surface since the sign was put up.
Nothing fishy going on here.
Heya now! Is that cat food?
Look at that, there's a few pieces right on top of that stick back there.
Looks like I'll be adding a dozen laundry baskets and a bag of cat food to my preps.
She's fine, I promise. I just realized the setup may be a bit confusing. It's a figure four deadfall.
SHould get some nice stakes out of that one!
I bet if you set it back up she'll fall for it again. You could play this game all afternoon.
I don't want ANY steaks when that one is done with them!
Call it; "Practice".
@PMSteve While I was driving I saw two different bridges taken comlpetely out by oversize loads within 10 miles of each other in TX. Both within a 6 month time frame.
Great job! When I demo the figure 4 trap, I have always told people to go home and try it with their laundry basket and a small pet.
Never knew of anyone that really did it until now!
@Crusher0032 Do you mean when they add 8 inches of asphalt to the lower road, and 8 inches to the overpass it doesn't equal out?
Thanks, I tried for the cat but he was to lazy to bother.
Apologies for originally posting in the wrong forum and my thanks for moving it. Still getting to know my way around here.
Or the kids. Gives you plenty of time for a nap. Just don't let DHS fine out.
I should feel bad that I like that^ post so much!
Less expensive than the velcro suit against and then toss them against the velcro wall!
Ooohh!! A velcro Deadfall !! Perfect. Lol
