Thanks to Julia and James for the dome suggestion after meeting them the past two years for the primitive archery shoot. Finally got the dome for car camping, and luckily it rained two nights to put to good use

Took the Serechete for a run and threw up my hammock tarp next to a creek. Dug two holes with the Serechete, sawed the poles to length then split the extra ends to make large stakes for a porch on the sand.

Picked up this Wolf Creek tomahawk and got it out for a bit of use this trip. Over the years I haven\'t had a use for a small hawk but its beautiful and unique and I had to have it

Dude, awesome pics and it looks like it was a really fun trip! Really made me miss California, it has been years since I was able to explore and play in the California wilderness. You chose an awesome starting photo too - I saw that and immediately knew I had to read on!

Two questions, if you don't mind:

    1. What camera are you using? Those pictures turned out amazingly well.
    2. What hammock is that?

No, but good guess. I'd rather not say or have you try and guess every time I post a thread without a location, thanks ;)

    Next trip Mike!

The camera is a small point and shoot, a Canon S120 and the hammock is the best hammock ever... Warbonnet Blackbird. Just buy it. :)

Well excellent job on the photos. The small cameras these days can produce some amazing pictures, when someone talented is on the shutter! And I keep seeing that hammock pop up... I'll definitely be checking it out!

Wow! Killer trip man. First things first, I scrolled way too far to see a trout. I was thinking those waters looked fishy from the get go. I'm digging the cord wrapped Angler. Caleb has some sweet patches on that pack :3:

Beautiful place and photos. I saw the swimming mask in one of the photos. I love to swim around in clear rivers like that and spy on the fish, see where they are hiding. Thanks for taking us along.
