    Alright folks,

I need help for this weekend.

Looking for a nice place to camp in NM.

My limited experience with your state is only Raton while driving thru on my way to Texas.

Anyone have any suggestions for my family to enjoy a weekend of the outdoors near Santa Fe?

    TIA, everyone!

There is great camping at Camp May near Los Alamos. Lake Abique is good too. Near Santa Fe you can get off on the forest roads and get over near the river, good place to primitive camp there. There are lots of forest service campgrounds in the Jemez mountain area. I lived in Los Alamos for 3 years and camped many many times. Buy a DeLorme New Mexico atlas and you can see lots and lots of places to hunt, camp, and fish.
