I see the comments above about the .50cal, but seriously, is there any restriction on what firearms are permitted? My .270 & .300Blk need some air and the range has been closed since the storm....

I'm not sure you're allowed to come without a firearm...

I will have my canopy. Truck is already loaded.
Have to work late tonight and tomorrow, so went ahead and loaded up last night.

Cool, thanks for bringing that. Don't think there is much of a chance for rain, but better to be safe than sorry. Since you'll be bringing that, then I'll probably skip setting up a big tarp. Might just set up a smaller one for the few that'll be there tomorrow night.

Was great to meet some new folks and visit with everyone. Thank you Forestree for putting it together, along with allowing us to come over from the other side of the Sabine.

Wish I could have stayed longer, but at the same time, glad I didn't. Apparently I was getting both overheated because about a half hour down the road in the AC I started feeling better. Hadn't noticed I was feeling bad until it got better. I was a quart low when I got there (as evidenced by the 5 bottles of water I drank after setting up) and I guess I hadn't drank enough to get caught up. (seems to be a recurring thing for me)

I don't know if anybody noticed, but Caesar wanted to stay. He crawled into the tent while I was breaking it down and didn't want to come out! He had a great time meeting you all, slept almost all the way home.... I didn't see any issues, but I hope y'all weren't upset by him being there. If there is a next time, I will be sure to tie him up up while anyone is eating.

Mrs took some photos and intends to post them soon as she is feeling better...

@Seeker glad you got some pics of @Nonc-Tobe cooking up that wonderful meal....I barely got any food pictures :( Started a trip report thread if you want to post them in there

@Woodsman Wannabe It was good to meet y'all as well and it was hot no doubt. Glad y'all stayed with us for one night and hope to hang out again. Caesar didn't want to leave because there was too much bacon around :D
