Hey all.. I have been reviewing lots of items of late.. most of them being extremely cheap priced items picked off Amazon. In my search I have found some pritty nice functional pieces of kit. I also have had it brought to my attention that alot of the knives I have reviewed as cheap fix blade bushcraft knives are copies of well known companies here in America.. I just want to apologise for upsetting people by backing some of these items.. but I stand by how they did in the field.. Also I want to make clear that not one of these items I have purchased or will purchase in the future are counterfeit. None have claimed to be anything other than a cheaper alternative for those on a budget or just wanting to try a type of blade.. I don't want to seem un-American by using a Chinese made clone but in my reviews I call it like I see it, and all I'm trying to do is provide information on pieces of kit for those who are looking for cheap alternatives.. anywho! I hope this clarifies what I'm doing.. sorry to those I offend.. have a good weekend everyone!

Keep on rolling. I like my expensive knives, but I enjoy using less expensive knives as well.

Yup keep at it. A knife is a tool nothing more. Not exactly a new piece of tech either. Think we've got the whole cost and quality thing worked out by now LOL.

I, personally think what you've been doing, and posting your honest opinion based on the results of a product you bought with your money, and took your time to test, write a review, and post it here, is doing a generous service to all of us that are interested.
Those that don't like, or appreciate that, aren't being forced to read it.
    I thank you.

It's sad that some don't appreciate honesty or differing opinions, fortunately most here are the opposite. As @Guttersnipe said above, no one is being forced to read your reviews. I enjoy saving money, and reviews of cheaper gear is very beneficial IMHO. Good job @Bushcraft-kelso.

I got no problem with the products you're reviewing or the way you're reviewing them.

HOWEVER, your apology in post #1 of this thread followed by a "but" statement comes across as hollow. "I'm sorry but I'm not sorry", or "I apologize I upset some people, but I'm going to continue doing it anyways".

Next time, just skip the apology part and go right to explaining why you're reviewing and the intended purpose and audience. If people can't accept that, then they never will. Otherwise, you come off as haughty and self-righteous.

Sweet buddy! Bring on the reviews! Nothing better than a $15 knife that performs as well as a $500 knife. Not to mention most of us would love the extra $485 to burn LOL! Oh by the way! My neighbors are asking for sassy updates! She's a rock star! ROFL! Have a great day buddy!:dblthumb:
