Just saw it on the instagram, Lodge has acquired Finex cookware.
Sweet I like their handle design
Can anyone interprete what this means?
"Though iron production will be transitioned to Lodge's foundries in Tennessee, FINEX will maintain its manufacturing operations in Portland."

I think the answer is in the last sentence of the next to last paragraph.
Sounds like they will eventually close the Portland factory but not right at the moment. Corporate-speak for start looking for jobs soon if you are part of the Portland operation....Lodge will be selling you out soon.
Count on it.
That's exactly my impression as well.
