Flamethrower? MIB? I wouldn't be able to stay at all. Anywhere would be better than living with that. Seriously, wish I had suggestions that might help.

    Here you go, brother: https://www.amazon.com/Harris-Boric-Silverfish-Killer-Powder/dp/B0026MD0G6

I sprinkle this stuff along the corners of the garage floor, between cabinets/counters and the wall, behind major appliances twice a year, whether needed or not. We have lived in the same house for 22 years. I think I have maybe seen a cockroach once or twice, and that was outside. Have never had them in the house.

I can tell you, though. This stuff WORKS! ;) It also works for ants.

Advion roach bait. It is amazing. Can be ordered from doyourownpestcontrol.com

Put a dot (just a dot) on a piece of tin foil and place it in kitchen cabinets, dark corners, or where ever you are having a problem. They will eat it. They will die... and other roaches will eat them (apparently this poison is that delicious) and those will die too.

    I'll go get a picture.

Stuff likes this always makes my brain work overtime.
If I've never seen them in the house, do I want to use something that contains a lure for preventative measures?
But that's how my brain works. Kind of goofy like that.

It looks like good stuff if you already know they are there.

If you live in an apartment building, and others are having the same problem, getting rid of them will be difficult. We live in a house in the Houston area where Palmetto bugs are everywhere and we use Teminix service. No bugs. I don’t know what they use.

This will sound like a plug for a certain company but I assure you that I have no connection with them. Our neighbors are the type who seem to do everything possible to attract roaches. Naturally this spills over to us. The product I've been using for the past couple of years is Combat roach killing gel. It comes in a tube and is available at Walmart. It's a bait that works very well. Follow the directions and within a matter of days, you'll see less and less roaches around.

Every spring, I spread two tubes worth of small strips and gobs around in strategic places and soon they're nearly completely gone.

Demon is Ok. Bifen IT is better in my opinion. The bug man at my work place told me that’s what they use. Go to your local pesticide dealer and get a gallon. It’s not cheap. I think I paid $80 for a gallon but you mix it 1-2 oz per gallon and never need an exterminator again. Safe for children and pets once it has dried. No bugs at all around my place.

I can vouch for this. Best roach bait ever. Its amazing how roaches will spread it among themselves. Deploying this bait indoors will also end up wiping them out outside if you live in a place like Florida where any backyard has them living heavily in the trees and leaf litter. The ones you think are confined indoors are actually intermingling with roaches from all around beyond your problem area.

I bought Advion. It works great. This is something I wouldn’t spare expense on. It took three treatments over 2 weeks and they were gone. I had two tubes left over and would retreat the areas every so often to make sure they didn’t return.
I would also treat with a spray outside up the walls and along the ground. That’ll help keep other pests away too.

If they are advising you to not to buy their product, it has got to be good.

This is what we use and it really works great.

So here are three steps to eliminating roaches from your home. First. Remove or seal all food. Put us in an air tight canister, fold up the potato chip bag and clean dishes and the counters immediately after use. Second. Fill and seal every hole, crack and crevice with expanding spray foam or calk. Third. Use the above ortho product and spray around every door and windows and along baseboards, corners and inside of every cabinet. Spray the outside of the house around every window, door and foundation. Expect to spend two weeks picking up dead roaches. Repeat periodically.

I’ve never observed the Advion bringing them in where they aren’t. There have been times I’ve deployed a squirt of the bait to a particular shed where I didn’t have a problem but wanted to prevent one, and the bait ended up sitting untouched as far as I knew for weeks.
