...what is everyones favorite way to make coffee in their mess kit?

I've been using the Jetboil w/java press the last 15+years and have just "rediscovered" my old Swedish mess kit. I need some good ideas for getting a good brew out of it!

    Thank you all in advance!

@central joe I like cowboy coffee too, but the clean up with the singles is a lot easier.

One more for cowboy coffee. Sometimes I'll go instant (Starbucks, etc) if I don't have a lot of time.

Great timing on this post and your reply. In most areas near my house, I have to carry my water so water for clean up is used sparingly. Unless it is winter and there is snow on the ground. I have not seen them around for some time but K cups are everywhere.

They are cheaper at my grocery store but can be found on amazon. $35 for 6 19 count boxes.

I’m cheap. We have to stay in a motel near the VA hospital every month, for one or two days. I save the coffee bags (like the folgers ones) and have tons of them. Gotta figure out what the ones that say ‘decaf’ are for. Confusing... o_O:confused:

Anyway, real coffee in a tea bag normally. Then there is the Greek coffee. Yum!

I added a set of holes and steel tent stakes to support a Moka pot.
