That fiddleback sheath and Mora neck knife sheath are seriously cool.
I really dig your modern stuff myself (style preference), but you can really see how good you are at making the throw back/aged leather goods.. Never saw that side stitching anywhere before I saw your work. You have a real talent for that style man.

Awesome sheath! I am very lucky to have such a awesome knife and sheath! It is exactly! What I wanted thanks for such an awesome job!
Great looking work!!!
Just curious on 2 things ...
For the axe holders, do you not have issues with the top heavy axes falling out of the O rings?
On the sheaths, do you sand the edges to get everything nice and neat and then burnish them? If so, what grit/grits are you using?
With your standard "forest" style axe it hangs with the handle slightly back which helps it to not slap against your side especially into your knee! These axe rings are great for when you are in camp and doing tasks like prepping fire wood or clearing brush. Where you are using the axe off an on or on the move around camp. Not really for heading out on a 5 mile tramp with your 20 inch wetterlings at your side flopping around. Strap it to your pack, then when you get to camp it goes on your belt when the time comes. I was on horseback a couple months ago and it actually worked well because in the saddle it was able to hang naturally.
On the edges it depends on what I'm making. If someone wants a very finished factory look ill sand it down all the way through 320 grit and use Edge Kote. I have a fine wheel on my bench grinder as well that comes in handy for shaping. Also depends on the leather. Higher quality leather can take less finish work. It pays to buy the good stuff.
BC I really like that second sheath in the pics, you aint worthless after all!!
I can cook too!!!
That's a handsome looking sheath for a handsome drifter badger, appreciate your work, quality like always. Thank you to matt for another great knife and thanks go out to you for another durable classy leather product. I swear the two of you together are like batman and robin! Look forward to hearing from you brother, enjoy the meet.
Very nice! What grit do you sand your edges with?

Awesome job man. Can't wait to get those back!
I'm going to be in the broke house after looking thru this thread. I don't think I've seen one thing I haven't fallen in love with. The primitive style sheaths are really cool!
