Cool, but not $400 worth of cool. Maybe a quarter of that, or less.

Roger that. Even if accuracy was awful (it probably is) I might go for it at a hundred bones. Deep carry third tier backup for my more paranoid moments.

Exactly. But an NAA is smaller, and about the same price.

An answer in search of a question?!?o_O

If you're looking for the ultimate in discreet, haven't they already made pen .22's, lip stick .22's, camera .22's, and a few others of the ilk; all of which could be carried loaded.?

Doesn't look like it's that much more concealable than something like a Ruger LCP. If it were cheaper I'd consider getting one as a novelty.

Pass. You can get a real 2 shot Derringer for that price/size. And not to start a caliber war, but a .22 is more likely to pi$$ someone off than stop them. If that is all I'm down to, my tactics $uck.

May not be legal in some states, I think my state has a statute about firearms that don't look like firearms, came about when the cell phone gun was in the works.....

    Lots of better options....

Without getting into the effectiveness of the .22lr as a defensive round, this looks like an elegant solution to a non existant problem.

I see this ending up in bankruptcy for the designer/manufacturer. Few if any knowledgeable gun aficionados will buy this. Only scared millenials will get one and then they'll likely accidently shoot themselves in the foot, then sue the company.

    No thanks.

I can appreciate the design and engineering that goes into a lot of these gadgets.
But in reality I feel this will do more harm than good.
By the time you get that piece out and ready to go you will have been beat up already. :38:

So under an imminent threat, you'd have to dig this thing out of your wallet, open it up, load a .22 round, and... yeah, no.

There's places I go where I would have time to get it ready and lay it beside my bed, chair, or whatever. Still in those situations I would generally be able to take a regular firearm and would for all of the reasons you might need one.
If it had a front sight it would be far more practical, like an NAA, although I'm not sure most of those smaller guns are meant for past throwing distances anyway, although I am capable with an NAA at favorable/reasonable distances.
Still, beyond collecting or taking this on your security job where guns aren't favored would be as practical as I can see it's uses. And I do like unique tools (ie firearms an knives).

There is always the chance that your attacker will die laughing long before you kill them with it.

Never bring a "credit card gun" to a knife fight.

Your family would be better off investing the cost of this "lifecard" into a life insurance policy for the user.

I dunno. If it can't be fired in the closed configuration, looks like a gun when opened, and Schumer doesn't hear about it, it may just fly.

Pocket pistols can get it done. However that one seems awfully gimmicky.

Too much of a gimmick, would rather have an NAA. It looks to be more of pain in the@ss since you can't carry it loaded. Leave it for the mall ninjas and wannabe spies.

I've seen those before but only a flame game out when you pulled the trigger to light your smokes which is a more practical but just as deadly use and only $4.98 at the Quick Stop check out counter. Best use for the LifeCard.22 would be in a failed bank robbery attempt where you would only be charged with credit card fraud.

Years ago a friend of mine found a ball point pen that shot a .32 S&W. I know it was illegal but it was neat. I guess it was custom made.
