Using every trick I can. I can still see the hands of my Pops, HS shop teachers, trainers and mentors getting it done. When my HS teacher showed me how to use a masonite template to make a Victorian table leg it blew my mind and I think of him every time I make one.

Thank you Ken. You would probably like this pattern based on what you are into.

    Thanks CB!

Learned a few things recently. What was once a crazy amount of labor is getting easier.

That's what it's all about. Never stop learning is a motto I live by. I have a training coming up in July that's going to be next level stuff.

@Sargent probably was something with Mountain State Overland. I've been traveling with those guys for a number of years now. They're always a good time. If you get a chance check IG. I sent you some details on this training I'm heading to.

Is there something wrong with the forum or is it just my connection? Replying to posts, loading pics and responding to pm's is painful.

Love that pattern! The handle pattern looks a bit different (at the ricasso), is that a Soultrean?

It's a Nakai, different handle than the Solutrean. Nakai is a lot bigger knife.

Yeah Kacie was a little sad, she cried through most of the ceremony, that evening and heading to school yesterday. They've been with most of those other kids for six years. It's a small school that might go back to the 50's. It's right in the middle of a small Mission town overlooking the beach. It has a lot of history and just a good vibe to it. They always felt really blessed to attend there considering a lot of things that have gone on in their lives and what we had to do to keep them in that school. A lot of the California schools are well behind others in grade level, this school is actually ahead of the curve so it was important for me to keep them there. I'll stop before I get political! lol
