A good tool to own, as long as you don't ever find yourself in a position where you need to use it.
They are handy where you have hard soil/clay/shale and roots. I used mine last weekend.
I've been looking for one of those myself.
Good score young fellar. joe
Ugh. That brings back bad memories of too-hot weather and red Carolina dirt.
But when you need it, no other tool can equal it's effectiveness.
Lol, I have horrible clay dirt, and in working in some rooty ground. Should be handy!
have several incl one w/ a short slot in the side of the big blade
use it to pull metal tepee stakes
have an adz w/ similar slot
both tools get sharpened prior to each trip/adventure
I have one and have a future project that will remove tons tree roots in clay from a (this year) dead tree next to my garden.
The perfect tool for a job I am not looking forward too.
Not looking forward to do it either, fortunately my son wants stuff lol
