    Nice work on that chair seat! Definitely a fan of "soft technology" here... I mess around with fiber crafts and basketry quite a bit, and consider it pretty useful stuff. I think fiber-working is sometimes overlooked as a skill (it can be very time-consuming, which puts some off), but there is a truly huge range of practical objects that can be woven.
