Are all the more modern/current issue ECWCS fleece jackets the same?
    There's the older black type.
The bear suit smoking jacket pile type.
Ok, then there's these newer ones like the green one and some brown ones on Ebay that seem to be newer more exotic types. Anyone got any experience with these?

Might the Brown ones be associated with the NWU? My ECWCS is current gen, but in the tan to match the MC issued uniforms. I have picked up NWU fleeces that are browner than my ECWCS fleece. The NWU fleece is also more of a "matted" fleece (like the old windstopper) compared to the ECWCS which is a little more like a nice shag carpet. I am partial to the NWU fleeces moreso than the ECWCS FWIW.

    Consider., please.

What is selling these China knockoffs is the reputation built into the real items by U.S. designers, U.S. companies, U.S. workers and U.S. materials. They are using our quality against us to sell cheap knockoffs and drive another nail in the coffin of the U.S. textile and garment industries. Ironic - and maddening.

Kudos, or really a big Drop Dead Twice , to Amazon, eBay and Walmart - the "fences" who make those like Rothco possible. "Just a distribution channel," they say. :58:

Too bad the Congressperson from the 3rd District of Massachusetts (Polartec) is retiring and no one knows who will be next. :17: THAT is someone with some skin is this dirty game - all those jobs in Lawrence.

Up here in Yankee Land, "extremities," when speaking of people, is arms and legs (Therefore, " I need better gloves and gaiters, boots that work.). In SW Kentucky, it would be "limbs."

    Funny that
Downunder Extremities always means feet, hands, ears and nose and sunburn /skin cancer risk not frostbite

Do I officially have to hate you again? Nah It isn't the pullover so while good it isn't of interest to me, if you see the USMC pullover version anywhere please let me know tho
Seriously well designed and sewn product and a give-away price

I killed mine in a couple years. Mostly around town use. Seams let go and zipper finally tore away. It wasn’t rough use either.

I own other clothing from Duluth and am very happy with it, great stuff. Unfortunately that jacket wasn’t the same quality.
