I had to edit my posts and change my photo's when I noticed this. My EDC and WDC have overlapping items but are two totally different things for me. I don't need a hatchet or folding saw when going in to the office, heck, my Bushcraft stuff can already be mistaken for a rape or torture-kit way too easily, I don't want to have to explain all that.

But with all the similar threads out they had to merge these two for some reason, maybe it was just a mod on auto-pilot, idk. Too bad, it could have been a fun thread.

Perhaps you shouldn't use the term "EDC" in the thread tittle next time but call it something like "what do you have on you when you go in to the woods" or something, or maybe use "WDC" instead.

My EDC varies a bit, but this is today. My Costanza wallet, phone, watch, keys (with carabiner, Streamlight Nano, and USB stick), and a 20-yr old clip-on Buck knife are always on me. Though I work in an office, I find use for the knife every... single... day. I rotate through water bottles daily, but this Nalgene is a favorite. Add the Chapstick this time of year (winter). Add the Maui Jim sunglasses most of the time, as well.

IMG_1322.JPG Only including the tools. Juice s2 multitool, Spyderco Manix 2, Thrunite Archer 1c. My EDC pistol is either a G19 in a Raven holster or a Sheild 9mm in a PHLster holster. I'm working in Jersey today so I don't dare carry either. I also keep a bit of gaffers tape rolled around a card in my wallet as well.

Well my EDC has changed alot of the years, and I don't go out of the house much. I had to sell off most of my gun collection when I had when I had the emergency cancer surgery so a big BIG change in my EDC was the loss of a good snubnose revolver.

Currently I carry either a schrade two blade trapper, or an old timer 3 blade medium/small stockman. Wife had bought me a nice little SAK to carry, and I loved it, and misplaced it somewhere in the whirlwind of Dr visits, etc. Still sick about it, but I am pretty sure it is here at home somewhere so there is always hope. Wallet (of course) with a P-51 can opener inside (my arthritic hands won't deal with a P-38 these days), and a large bobby pin besides the usual junk that tends to accumulate in my wallet. My meds are in an aluminum pill cylinder with key-ring that had a braided para-cord pull on it that I need to replace since I had to use the cord awhile back. I carry a magnyfing glass (actual glass) these days since I can't really see well enough to read without one anymore. I'm still trying to find a nice compact one with a attached cover, but finding one in glass ain't easy anymore. Then there's the basic set of house keys. Not much to that keyring, but it is what it is.

    God bless, and One Love.

Never heard of that blade. Just looked them up very nice. How's the edge retention on that? They are pretty pricey.

I absolutely love it. It is the sole reason why I stopped carrying folding knives. It weighs like 6 ounces with the sheath.

Edge retention is great. I use the knife for literally everything imaginable. Opening boxes, cutting food while eating, preparing food in the kitchen, cutting wrapping paper for Christmas, cutting cordage...you name it. I've put it through its paces.

I have not had to do a full sharpening on it since I bought it. I just swipe it on a Norton Crystolon stone a few times, and it pops hairs again.

Mine is one of the few cord wrapped models in Fenrir Grey Cerakote, so I paid a bit more, but It is by far my most used knife, and I love the way it looks. It's a conversation starter for sure.

I've got lots of money in knives, and have tried just about every steel that is commercially available, and I'd give CPM-CRU a passing grade for EDC tasks. It hasn't rusted even one little bit, maintains a good edge, and gets crazy sharp with little effort.

    I'm infatuated with the knife.

Absolutely. Compared to the Vic Pioneer, its lighter, has the same blade length, the can opener can be used as a marlin spike, (and often is by me), its classier IMHO and made in America. Great pocket knife.

Just an "old school" edc kit I have been using for about a year now.
the knife, matches, pocket sharpening stone/steel hone kit and ferro rod go in the belt pouch. handkerchief goes in back pocket and watch goes in front pocket

DSCF5721.JPG My pockets were half empty since I've been sitting all day, so I piled it all up and took a picture. Happened to have my little camera handy.

Unlike some of you, the state I live in (NJ) won't let me carry a pistol (I'm still hoping someday...) so I keep a walking stick in the car with a big lump of shiny brass as a grip.

The knife used to rotate, usually a Buck 110 on my belt, but this one's been a constant for 2 years or so.

Work EDC. Everything on here is self explanatory, except for maybe the flag back drop. It's a neck gaiter that I use for dusty work conditions, because the masks always get smashed in my pockets.

I certainly hope some of the folks with there so called EDC gear don't work on or near the water, from some of the gear I've seen I don't think even 2 PFDs could keep their heads above water.

I don't like having stuff in my pockets. Lol.

I also have an iPhone, but I had to take the pic with it. If I have to leave the farm I also take a wallet.

Everything else goes in my day pack...
