This the only ground pad I have used since 1999... Winter or summer...never have been cold even sleeping on top of ice crusted snow for two days. Also excellent for a cot...have never tried it in a hammock...

When the bones started getting old about two years ago I added a compact Klymit air mattress and have slept happily ever after....

Rectangular Hunter...rarely seen on the used market. I bought one of these and the Nautilus bags back in 1999... Basically the same bag but the Nautilus bag is rated at 40* and the Hunter 25*.

They can be zipped together to make a HUGE double bag that can be used year round by simply swapping what bag is on top. I've also put the Nautilus inside the Hunter to take it down to zero. I slept on top of ice crusted snow at 8* with no tent in that combination and was HOT inside the bags...

Not a small bag but if you are a big person this is the bag for you...

+++++disregard some of the above...in looking at the tag it says "NAUTILUS"...why he has it listed as a Hunter I have no clue. So this is a 40* bag not a 25*. That said the Nautilus is my favorite and most used bag...++++++

So I come to this thread and realize I'm not the only guy around that loves his Wiggy! I hear an awful lot of the Ultra Light gang talking about how Wiggy's bags don't perform, or they're too difficult to compact... None of which have ever been issues for me. My Girlfriend is a totally awesome gear fanatic... She' always got a couple of waaaay cool and Tres chic bags in her cellar gear locker... All serious brand names for serious outdoor use.... she hits all the right forums, has long discussions over Lattes at Starbucks and other awesome coffee shops about gear with all here Ultralight friends and club members... she kinda turns her nose up , just a bit when I mention she's bought at least 8 high dollar technical bags , versus the one Wiggy that I've bought...
She has more air and foam sleeping pads than most do, and she's always on the go looking for more...

I must admit, I've ended up a tad on the chilly side when, in the middle of the night I ask the ages old question every back country couple grapples with.... "hey Honey... How come we always end up snuggled up in my low performance Wiggy on my incompressible Luxurious mated ground pads, while your trendy and expensive sleeping bag/ground pad is still in your stuff sack??"

    Oops...
    :56::56::56:
    Hate it when that happens...

In looking at the close up pictures of the bags they look like they were well used...but for the price of a good washing it would probably still be better than most of the Chinese bags in that price range.

-20* bag for $25.00 starting bid...

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/183813705782?ul_noapp=true

...funny...he said it's "old"...been used 15 times and may not be that warm any more... I have Wiggy's Bags that have well over 100 nights use and washings and I've not noticed any difference in warmth...

Thanks for the heads-up .... I got it for a few bucks less than the asking price. That was pretty much a no-brainer deal!

    :^)

ETA: Bags were delivered today (5/24). Brand new in factory bag with two (2) stuff sacks and a pillow .... all for less than $132!

...always happy to help another Cult of the .41 member...glad you got it.

It was up for sale for 2-3 days and I think the reason no one bought it is they didn't read carefully everything that was included. I have that same set and it is much roomier for me than the Regular I also have...

A BIG friend of mine was tempted to buy that set but he hates mummy bags... He saw my Nautilus and is going to get a rectangular bag instead...

Is this your first Wiggy's product?

If you like Sport Wash, you might want to give Charlie's Soap a try, as well ..... I think you'll find the advertised performance qualities of the two products unusually similar. ;^)

I've been using it for all my laundry needs for a long time now and I buy the powder formulation in 5 gal buckets on Ebay and Amazon.
