I may get flack for this but, yes wako (virtuovice) does a lot on hunting knife reviews and sharpening, but he turned me off when i watched his hunting vids as he processed his deer, wasting so much of it then left it in the field, then brags about his 60 plus kills in a season

I got like 50 subscriptions or something now even more than shnick, I tend to subscribe to them all and let God sort them out. Also I subscribe to anybody who does me and makes videos.

I got a ton of subscriptions, most of what I have is from here just going through quick 556mp, croatan, averageiowaguy, BeginnersBushcraft, Howie, Pict, crunksknunk, roadlesstraveled, kcardwel, IAWoodsman, jloden ... arrgghh too many I got a trip report to do.

Anyway I went to check the list and realized I can pin them. So here are the 10 I pinned, doesn't mean anything other than they tend to make a lot of videos and I like them.

3E971 - Shnick was too humble (sorta) to say it but that's his channel
Alexander Yerks - Adahy on here, absolutely beautiful and he is getting closer and closer to real cinéma vérité with each one whether he knows it or not
bindlestitch1 - I dunno I think he makes knives or something but I tend to learn something gee dang it!
    bushclassusa - duh
bushnblade - Japanese guy in Finland, there are just a handful of us from/or in Japan who bushcraft and we all kinda watch/help each other
BushTramp - I've liked Doug's videos for a long time, really great editing
OperationalExtras - Mr. Black, always great, I think I've watched every single video on his channel
SkogKniv - Very nicely done videos and he uploads other content such as currently some great Lars Monsen tv I have never seen
TheENIGMA301 - One of my first subscriptions, I think I watched his OSFITR video about 5 times SO much skill
virtuovice - Another of my Japan connections, real nice guy who hunts up in Hokkaido

Also there is this thread which is pinned in this very forum: http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/showthread.php/42732-Member-YouTube-Channels

ALSO SUBSCRIBE TO ME I AM A GURU I MAKE AWESOME VIDEOS EVEN NUTNFANCY WOULD BE PROUD MY HANDLE IS CELLISIZATION CAUSE CELLIS WAS TAKEN AND YOUTUBE SUGGESTED THAT CAUSE I GOT FRIENDS THERE AND STUFF

    rdraider,
I'm not aware of any trip report videos or written trip reports by him in the Boundary Waters. To my knowledge all his outdoor videos are shot exclusively in Algonquin Provincial Park. Since he's not uploaded anything in a year, I'd be interested if he does have videos from the Boundary Waters somewhere. He makes very good quality instructional videos.

No flack but he does that for a reason. He is paid and licensed to kill them as they are invasive up there in Hokkaido, he is not allowed to sell the meat or use it in any other way than to feed his family and friends. They eat as much as they can but there is no other use for the meat by our government here. It is his job to leave meat in the field, to put it shortly from what I know about him.

Seriously everyone should check out the Eat The Weeds channel. In depth explanation of very common edible weeds that would surely prevent starvation in this country if properly implemented.

Also, "Bearpawblog" for the trad archery buffs. Outside the US (Germany). "Feel the Spirit" series of 3D shoots are incredibly well done.

I watched a few last night by Wranglerstar on building a timber frame cabin. I only saw a couple, but it was good stuff. The process from felling the tree to building the cabin. Saws, axes, snow, trees, .... good stuff. Not completely traditional, he appreciates chainsaws, pickup trucks, and excavators, but so do I.

I hear you Dragon, but Virtuovice's condition over in Japan is so different than what we have. It's like a guy living in a desert begrudging another guy in rain forest of not saving every drop of rain water :)

What I wish he'll do is to stop obsessing over a million variations of Bark River knives and do more reviewing of other maker's knives.
