Keep smiling you can do this!
Me and my best friend have wanted to bike the Greenbriar River Trail (camp and fish along the way) for several years, but somehow something always got in the way, conflicts of schedules etc. When we finally did get it planned out I ended up in the hospital through that time.
Want to get back to Glade Run for some fishing also, had a trip scheduled for that too with another good friend and had to cancel out due to being in the hospital.
Really want to finish up my 27,everytime it seems I'm going to make some progress on that project something seems to happen.
There's a car show coming up this July that I plan to take the old Vette too if I'm healthy enough and if someone has not bought it by then.
Looking forward to getting back to work (thankfully I still have my job when I am able to do it again ) and really looking forward to getting to go back to my church on a regular basis.
I'm really glad for you that you have several goals! the next step is to see, hear and feel in your imagination what it would be like to achieve these goals. I gets your mind and body prepared and sets many subconscious body functions to work to support your achieving those goals. Best wishes . Let us know if you can.
Still praying Shane.
Shane, I still have the 1932 Ford frame, with the transverse leaf spring in front, and original rear diff. I think it would look good under your rod. I am half of the continent away, but I hope we can work this out. I think it has the original spoke wheels.
I know antique spokes are a time-intensive thing (Soak/break them loose, then tuning them properly. Break some spokes, then replace them). Let me know if you don't want the wheels (original Ford Freaks will eat them up, on Evilbay).
EDIT: Actually, I have two Ford A frames, a '32 and (possibly a 34).
My Grandpa cut the horns off, of the frame. It's not always bad. Scroll down.
Double-Secret-Edit-Again: I think I meant to link to this, on the drop-axle.
Actually ended up designing one and jigging it up out of boxed tube then a couple of my friends welded it up for me.
Appointment at 9 to find out what the biopsy results are.
Prayers for good results.
Got the results back, it took it from 45% to 11% so I will need more treatment it's a 5 day a month treatment iv in conjunction with a pill. It is a treatment plan over a few months, it's not a fast treatment that kills off everything in its path but it is more of a slow and steady targeted treatment that focuses on the bad cells.
Thank you for all the prayers,
Daily prayers are being offered on your behalf.
You're going to beat this!
Prayer continues as always Shane. I’m sorry you have to go through more treatment, but happy you still can! You will win!
That’s a right optimistic hallelujah ...
Continued prayer, Shane. Your faith, perseverance, and optimism are inspiring.
Way to go Shane. Kill that bastard!
I wish you all the best.
Sounds positive, Shane!
Hey there. That's good news on the blast count! Is the treatment Vidaza? I went through 6 months of that.
Alde to hear you are making progress Shane. Prayers are continuing here for your receivers and strength to endure this trial.
Just wanted to check in with you all, I think vildasa is one of the treatments. But I had a relapse of the gvhd and have rsv , I collapsed Wednesday morning so we have to get that under control before I can start treatment. So I've essentially been bedfast since Wednesday, I'm improving but need a lot of prayers.
Thank you all.
Set backs are to be expected! Don’t let a setback hold you back!
Hang in there!
So sorry to hear of the GVHD. I had some in my liver and some hyper-pigmentation in my upper torso that is still faintly visible. Just got off my Tachrolimus (Immune System Supressant) after a year+ and tapering off Prednisone which I've been on since last July. Only GVHD left is some inflammation/irritations and dryness in my eyes that I'm still being treated for. I don't know exactly what you are going through and you've got a bush brother whose been through a similar wringer. All my best and fondest wishes that your docs will be able to assist you medically allowing you to do the mental and physical challenges to whip this shit's ass!
Still praying for you Shane.
Stay strong Shane!
