I am looking for opinions on this pack. Seems like it might be a nice weekend summer bag for 2 days worth of bushcrafting.

I have one, Used it for the last two years. Great bag. It hold a lot, has some some great features, and plenty of PALS webbing in case you need more room. The shoulder straps are comfortable, the pack rides well, and it has the benefit of being in an awesome coyote color. Used mine as a college book bag carrying 30-40 pounds of text books and computers. Handles it very well.

Only problems are normal wear and tear. On some I have seen where they rip near the top, on the back, but that seems like what happens when Marines get bored.

@Panzer enlarge the picture of the pack in the link I posted. It shows what happens when Marines use them. They should make them and stitch them with amsteel thread.
If you want something absolutely, positively destroyed overnight, give it to a Marine.

Depends on how much you take if it'll carry enough and leave room for enough food for 2 days.

Other than that, it's a very comfortable pack, much better than the ILBE assault pack.

I bought mine new, so it didn't come complete with grunt damage like some of the used ones.

I only wore one briefly but I thought the straps where much wider and better padded then many packs of a similar size, and I found the two foam pads in the back with the gap in the spine region to feel quite nice.

The single biggest problem is finding one that isn't totally trashed, ones in good condition are commanding quite a price.
I'm not the biggest fan of the zipper access, and the waterproof zippers will wear out faster then traditional ones, but a small difference.

I saw your review of it. I tend to go for packs that clam shell open but I guess the half and three quarter zipper prevents spillage if the zipper fails.

Mine had that issue as well. I did a little sewing with some upholstery thread and it seems to be holding fine.

It was your YouTube Video that inspired me to get one! I love it and now you’re on my wife’s list...
