I haven't noted any mention so far, of the knife outfit "Traditional Filipino Weapons"...They have some REALLY decent patterns, at around 2 bills, and if I had the cash, they have one I'd like. (or three...)

Some of the best and strongest blades you can buy without truly spending thousands.

    Two bills = $200?

I'll hop over and see what they sell.

My experience with PI blades is machete / parang types and butterfly blades.

My experience was those worked, at the time didn't know enough (young marine) to really judge by comparison and been so long memory is fading on what they did and didn't do well.

interesting no matter what since I love looking at knives of all types, even those that I decide won't work for me usually teach me something and are a nice thought exercise.

    Thanks.

Hmmm . . . my nephew just started working over in the Philippines. I just might have him ship over some things for me.
