I own the double Mackinaw which I bought over thirty years ago, the old style tin coat with no hand warmer pockets or liner, another canvas cruiser type coat I got on close out that I can't remember the name of, and a ball cap that cost forty bucks which I bought because it fits my fat Norwegian head and doesn't blow off in the wind like the "low profile" caps which seem to be in style these days.

Love to go to the Filson stores when I’m in Seattle and Portland. Walked out of the Portland store a couple months ago with an Alaskan Guide shirt, and a hunting vest.

A Mackinaw vest has been part of my daily wear, between the months of October and May, for years.

I've had an oilcloth Klondike jacket, a hunting game vest, their fly fishing vest and a couple other things I can't remember at the moment.

    Great thread!

    From memory........
    Double Mackinaws (black, gray, green)
    Double Mack with sheep collar
Wool Cruisers (black, green, red plaid, blue plaid)
    Wool jacket 24oz
    Wool jacket 18?oz
    Shirt-Jac
Mackinaw vest (black, green, red plaid)
    Mackinaw wool pants w/bib
    USA waterfowl sweaters (2)
    Wool beanie (2)
    Tin Cloth Packer Coat (2)
    Tin Cloth Cruiser
    Tin Cloth Jacket
    Shelter Cloth Packer Coat (2)
    Double Tin Pants
    Tin Cloth Wildfowl hat (2)
    Tin Cloth Packer hat
    Tin Cloth Packer hat insulated
    Shelter Cloth Packer Hat
    Tin Cloth Bush Hat
    Tin Cloth insulated cap
    Tin Cloth adjustable cap
    Upland Strap vest
    Shelter Cloth strap fishing vest
    Foul weather fishing vest
    Original upland vest

Son’s first hat was a red plaid Mackinaw that he’s going to outgrow soon and then not get back until I’ve passed on.

I obviously have a problem (besides closet space) but since Filson sold and changed marketing strategies to target hipsters, I haven’t had the rabid infatuation that I used to have. I won’t wear out what I have, so I hope my son fits/appreciates what he’ll inherit.

Just picked this up at a $100 discount on eBay. New with tags. Pretty stoked.

Only have one Filson item. Found a cruiser jacket at a garage sale for $5 a few years back. They make solid stuff I just won’t pay what most of it costs.
