I'm sure we'll see a few more days in the 90's before winter sets in, but the past few days in the high 70's have been a welcome reprieve from the summer.

We've been hovering around 107 degrees the last week. This is getting old.

Humidity here is horrible. Mind taking some of it?

Fall is already on the way up here in the mountains. The aspens are turning and our daytime highs are only in the upper 70s. Supposed to see a low of 33 on Wednesday night. What we really need is some rain!

Supposed to be mid 30's for overnight low. Don't think it made it to 60 today in Reno. Was "brisk" outside today.

I've been watching the lizards that sun themselves on the bricks around my fire pit. They've been inching themselves over day by day to keep in the direct sun. Wonder what happens to those little dudes when it snows? I assume they hibernate, but I've never accidentally dug up a lizard while working in the yard during winter.

Blue bellies? I guess they go down under ground. But, like you, I have never dug one up. Hmmm...

Yep. They're all over the place in the summer. They disappear when it gets cold and yet, I've never "found" one in the winter. Maybe they're just magic lol

If they're digging underground, they've got sharper claws than my picks and shovels. Dirt around here is tough

Magic, and they come in all sizes. I love to watch them change color. Black when they are cool and light brown otherwise. Love ‘em. Dog loves to chase them too.

Got a little weiner dog that chases them all the time. He doesn't catch many, but when he finally gets a hold of one, he swallows them whole.

Weather can't cool off fast enough for me. Humidity picked up again this weekend and temps hit mid 80s in central PA today. What's up with that??

    That sucks.

Was 36 this morning when I woke up, 50 at 11am, and 70 by around 2pm.

Granted we only get this glorious spread for a few weeks, but I'm loving it while it's here.

It was like 8 degrees last night. I'm over it, where's summer?
