I received my Wilderness Spirit Legacy today and wanted to quickly give my initial impression.

I have been watching Tim's work for the past year, and knew I had to have one of his knives, and that time has come. It is Tim's Legacy model with a matching firesteel and a dangler sheath. All I will say right now is that I'm extremely impressed with the knife and sheath, and the packing. I want to spend a little time with it before doing a review, but I can pretty much tell, it's a winner. Here are a couple pics... Stay tuned for a full review!

Looks pretty solid all around to me. What thickness did you go with?

Thanks guys, but Tim is the one that built this beauty... Keep an eye out for my full review, as it's going to be good. I suggest getting in line for one of Tim's knives, as these are the real deal.

I sent him a pm about a month ago about doing one of his pukko style blades in stacked leather and stag. He had a full plate at the time. I hope he didn't forget about me because that blade is bad ass and I want one even more now.

Congrats on the beautiful knife. Looking forward to the review. My fiancee is always amused when she sees me drooling over pictures of knives online and when she asks me why I'm so taken with it I always say the same thing, it's a work of functional art. It's the equivalent of a painting or a sculpture, but as a tool that is not something you just look at but can actually use it and take it with you. It's like a painting that doubles as it's own paintbrush in a way to get all metaphorical about it.

I promise you that you will not regret buying one of Tim's knives! In fact, if you don't like it, I'll buy it back!

I'm already on the list. I can't wait to see your review. I have seen pictures of his work and of course specs he posted all look great but I have not yet read a hands on review. I took the leap of faith just from what I saw.

AS KC said, you won't regret it. I loved my legacy so much I instantly asked to be on the list for one of each of Tim's models, and for the price, you simply cannot touch it!

I'm sure if you send Tim a PM he will get you taken care of. There is obviously a wait as with all the custom makers.

Beautiful knife. I got one from him as well and I am pretty impressed with it. I will watch your review and then I will do one next week as well. DSC_0010.jpg DSC_0011.jpg DSC_0012.jpg I got lucky. I inquired about the knife he had as an avatar and he said it was for sale. I bought it and had it in a few days!
