    I love watching them on those wobbly gobbly legs. Nice pinto pattern on the mare. What's your guess the foal will have more white patches in a year or two? I see some dusky side patches.

    On the farm and at the beach.
    Love it.
    When I was about ten I was out on a hike and well into the woods I came across a fenced in meadow (I knew the area well, and came here to see horses and the giant bull).
    Anyway, on this day there was a horse at the fence.... giving birth! I watched in shock/awe/horror.... and then amazement as the foal stood up. Fantastic.

    Pretty little thing. I've had quite a few over the years, the youngest being born last June.

    They are a lot of fun
