we had a new foal hit the ground this morning. This is the most beautiful yet. Loving this farm.
I love watching them on those wobbly gobbly legs. Nice pinto pattern on the mare. What's your guess the foal will have more white patches in a year or two? I see some dusky side patches.
Keep us updated on the baby pictures.
Mom’s a beauty.
+1 on the wobbly legs! Also when they figure out they can run for the first time! Looking forward to more pics as it gets bigger!
When I was about ten I was out on a hike and well into the woods I came across a fenced in meadow (I knew the area well, and came here to see horses and the giant bull).
Anyway, on this day there was a horse at the fence.... giving birth! I watched in shock/awe/horror.... and then amazement as the foal stood up. Fantastic.
Pretty little thing. I've had quite a few over the years, the youngest being born last June.
They are a lot of fun
Makes me think of ...
Nice looking addition young fellar. joe
I watched one being born, it was quite the memorable experience.
nothing quite so wonderful as witnessing life begin/evolve
Them little critters are nothing but legs and friskiness! I remember very well the first one we had born here.
What a beauty!
