Hello David and welcome to the fire from Missouri
Welcome Forestgreen. Thank you for joining. Lately I’ve been very interested to hear from people not from the USA about what’s traditional and inherited over the years from different nationalities ancestry. I’m confident that a universal exchange of ideas will help tremendously elevate my skills. I always keep an open mind, and like to think out of the box.
Hey there David from Cascadia! Looking forward to hearing you thoughts, experiences and stories.
Welcome from Minnesota. That is a great picture. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, and welcome to the tribe,! I have to say that Austria, in my humble opinion is the most beautiful place on earth.
Everything from the land to the food I adore. My Granparents met in Mondsee after the war and I was fortunate enough to visit and stay at a guest house that they met at. It was an Rand R retreat for servicemen at the time.
I have very fond memories of that place. Thanks for sharing.
Monteagle TN checking in.
Thanks for your kind words @POGEYBAIT
Each place has its own magic, but some have more than others, this is where you have settled down or need to stay...
Austria is really beautiful. Beside some great nature with lots of mountains and green I also appreciate the local culture and the climate. Whether it is food, architecture or the people's mindset, it is a as well a good combination of all, making it very comfortable.
Beside that, we got reasonable laws (vs some other surrounding countries). For example - for bushcrafters in Austria, there is no restriction in regards of blade lengths of knives that you carry, but in Germany they really have an issue if you are carrying a fixed blade over 4" if it is not locked into a container...
Attached some more pictures from Austria that are currently on my phone, enjoy!
Welcome aboard from Long Island NY.
