    To claim a spoon please post your claim in this thread with the description of the spoon you want so I can go by the timestamp and be fair. I'll try to update the thread as often as I can. I think the spoons and forks in this post will each unique enough that it shouldn't be confusing to specify which one you're claiming.

    I accept money through Paypal primarily, if you want to pay another way just ask. Paypal is just the easiest. Also, no friends and family payment please, I use my Paypal only for business so it'd start to look fishy :) I'll cover fees. The prices in this thread include shipping! If you need Priority shipping let me know and we can work it out, it'll amount to another $3-4 probably.
    My paypal address is blackswanhandmade@gmail.com

    Titanium is a really ideal utensil material because it's lightweight, super strong, doesn't conduct heat well, and is hypoallergenic. Forging it brings this new awesome material out of the space and medical fields into the realm of the handmade, unique, and heirloom. Each one I make is an experiment; I still haven't settled on one perfect shape and I might never settle. Here's a video of me forging one of these:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    First up, a couple of spoons that aren't a departure from what I've done before, just part of the continual refinement.
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    The feathered handle spoon with the lanyard hole is a perfect eating size with a nice handle a little different than my usual diamond/octagonal shape. It's more of a squashed hexagon profile, flatter and very comfortable.
    6" long, 1 3/8" wide. Weighs tbd. $48 SOLD
    The plain handled spoon is a fantastic specimen, I think the bowl is as near perfect as I've ever made. Smooth and comfortable to eat with. 6.25" x 1.5". Weighs tbd. $48 SOLD
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Next is one with a loop on the end of the handle. I almost got the loop round enough. The hole is drilled, not punched, because titanium is very picky! I keep trying to forge loops entirely without drilling and it results in cracked titanium This is a nice medium.

    [IMG]

    The bowl is shallowish, not ideal for soup but great for eating everything else. Handle is squashed hexagon shape, thickest in the middle and tapering towards both ends. 6 1/2" x 1 3/8". Weighs tbd. $48 SOLD.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This spoon is anodized deep blue in the areas that are normally polished.
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    5 3/4" x 1 1/2". Weighs tbd. $48 SOLD
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I think this design for a fork is pretty cool. I basically went through the same process as forging a spoon, but left more material so the tines would be thick enough after drilling and cutting. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to forge the tines in with titanium, but until then this fork is plenty strong enough and even more lightweight.

    [IMG]

    5 3/4" x 1 1/8". Weighs tbd. SOLD

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This is the first spork I've made, how fun! These nubbier tines are actually fairly sharp, and this handy eating tool won't disappointingly snap like the ones at your local bbq joint.
    [IMG]
    6" x 1 1/4". Weighs tbd. $SOLD shipped.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I'm real proud of this little spoon, it involved a little more work forging on the handle than usual but it's definitely worth it. The handle is forged square and even, then bent around. The bowl of the spoon was forged so that the center line is even with the center line of the folded handle.

    Just under 4" long, 1 1/4" wide. Weighs tbd. $48 SOLD

    This is a shorter spoon with a larger bowl. The handle is a deep royal blue and the bowl is ice blue. They look great together and the copper rivets really pop. Colors are more intense than the photos.

    5" long, bowl is 1 3/4" x 2". Weighs tbd. $60 SOLD

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This spoon's bowl is anodized a royal-ish blue, the handle is stripped clean raw titanium.
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    5.75" long, bowl is 1.5" wide. Weighs tbd. SOLD
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    OK, I'll be honest, this spoon is a bit of an ugly duckling. The handle is actually forged stainless steel but has an interesting patina. The titanium handle is a chameleon green/blue with other colors tinting through.

    6 1/4" x 1 1/2". Weighs tbd. $24 shipped.

    Thanks for looking, enjoy the rest of your holiday week and family time for those who got the days! Happy birthday, America!

    You got it, thanks! Marked it SPF for you. I'll definitely make more forks, don't know if the style will be exactly the same but this one does seem to work very well.
